The sun shone brightly down upon the Stellan wood-elf, their feet were buried beneath the sands, the cool breeze brushed against their chest and the boats anchored to the docks up ahead were mighty in size. This was the perfect place to be, what more could anyone ask for? It felt as though this island was protected by the forces from the unknown other universe. Luluhawa was a safe haven. The Celdrua couldn't help but wonder how long this island would remain this way though, it seemed as of late that everything was turning to dust. Luluhawa was out of their jurisdiction as a Knight of the kingdom, but they wouldn't allow an island like this to perish without struggle. Homes were where the heart felt comfortable and safest, and this island was one of those places for Ale. The people were always so kind and welcoming, so the least they could do was protect it.

The small blue cat-like creature sat on the beach chair beside their partner in justice, stuffing his fluffy little face with fish caught from the seas. If Alejandro had to guess, Happy preferred the fish from here over the fish in Fiore. "I've...gotta...finish...them all." Happy munched in between words. There were moments when Alejandro worried about his exceed's eating habits, right now was one of those moments. "Jeez happy, slow down..." Alejandro's eyes widened in shock. This was regular for happy but that didn't mean in didn't leave Alejandro in awe every time. The exceed ignored the Knight and continued stuffing his face. "Hehehe, you're gonna turn into a fish one day." The Savannan couldn't help but laugh. "deh ow haff foo ea mashelf", he explained. Alejandro merely returned to the Underground magazine, flipping to the next page before reading the interview on Rangar the Red.

The Underground Magazine was created by a popular reality Icon named Za or something like that, but he was also known to be an organizer of crime and had a small bounty. The fact that he was able to make and publish an entire magazine and still not have been to jail spoke volumes. Alejandro didn't care either way, but still. The Elf flipped to the next page, and then to the next and finally reached the end where it gave a tribute to Odin Morningstar. Word had spread rather quickly about what happened on that fateful night. Alisa Vollan, the guild mistress of Blue Pegasus was the one who struck him down, beheading him to end the battle. Alejandro closed the book and gazed out into the distance. "Hmm..." they thought. Eternal Nightmare isn't known for being very...forgiving. They are servants of darkness after all. They're probably getting ready to strike back.

Odin was the pinnacle of Darkness in Fiore. When you heard his name you either ran as far away as possible, or you...well...there really was no other option. Most people trembled at the though of the former Lich being in their space. All in all, the whole situation with Alisa and him was very interesting, Alejandro pondered. The Knights hadn't been the ones to take him down, something about that just didn't sit right with the Dragon of light. Propaganda in favor of the Rune Knights could be found everywhere and mages from all over the world, from all walks of life, found themselves wanting to join the Magic Council... yet... the Knights haven't done enough. It was the might and strength of the guilds who fought for the people that kept Fiore safe. The hard truth was that the world didn't need the Knights to move forward, at least that was how Ale saw it.

Their father was different, like most old-schoolers were. They believed the Rune Knights brought law and order. Unbeknownst to him, even within the halls of the Headquarters, there were people in it for their own gain. Knights hoped to rise in the ranks not for the good of the people or society, but for the good of the world. Alas, if Alejandro continued to trouble themselves with such taboo thoughts they would probably find another place to call home. Darkness existed everywhere and Alejandro had the power of light to eradicate it. There were a few good apples who had worked diligently in the organization. Those who would rather fill out papers than return to their homes for a nights slumber. Just like everywhere, in every community, there were Knights who wanted to do good in the world. Alejandro was one of them. In time they would become a Kingsguard and if the gods allowed it, bring light to the world.

"Ugh..." that was the sound of someone who had sickened themselves. Happy laid back on the beach chair covered in a pile of fish bones, moaning and groaning in pain. "Told you." Alejandro snickered. The Extalian rubbed his belly, regretful of his actions. While the day was still ripe and fresh, Happy would not enjoy it. Such was the consequences of gluttony. "Go inside and rest." Alejandro suggested. The cat obliged and flew off to the house behind them. The Lieutenant had mommy and daddy funds, which meant they were able to purchase a little home on this glorious island. They owned a house which meant they didn't have to spend money on inns anymore — not that it mattered anyway. Horns roared from the giant ships parked within the sea. Sailors walked on and off carrying shipments, others relaxed in the confines of their boats. It was a slow day for everyone, it seemed.

Suddenly, a posse of eight men dressed in equipment with swords and knives dangling off their waist marched through the sand — quite loudly, might I add. The Elf hated nothing more than obnoxiously loud noises and people. The Horns of a ship was one thing, but the sound of peoples voices when they were loud for no apparent reason? That would make anyone wanna tear their ears off. These men wanted to be seen. They walked confidently as they approached their ship, climbing aboard to eventually set sail. "Pirates..." Alejandro mumbled. Pirates were always embarking on journeys in search of something. Most of them weren't too bad, but there were others who were completely ruthless. The Lieutenant sat back in their chair and watched them like a hawk. They were the most entertainment the Dragon Slayer had all day. One of the men stood on the bow of the ship and dramatically gazed into the distance.

Oh god. Alejandro thought. They just knew something annoying was about to happen. "Ahoy! me mates an' I be about to embark on a voyage to find the creature on this here paper! there's a 'uge bounty on 'er 'ead an' I think it will make us rich! we ye be welcome to all them with guts an' courage to come with us!" Crickets. Alejandro didn't know that there was a bounty on the head of a sea monster, but they were definitely not going with these men even if they wanted to. That was until... "My lads an' I will take fifty percent an' ye can keep the other fifty. We only need-" It couldn't be helped. "I'll come!" Alejandro waved with a welcoming smile. The Celdrua was raised in pools of money and they always felt the need to make more. They loved it, probably a little too much. Initially they were against it, but fifty percent is a huge cut. How could they resist?

"Harrharrharrharrharr! ye look such as yerself can 'andle yerself. Ye be welcome aboard, come on mate! We set sail as we speak!" the man said. He was the captain of the ship. He had been captain of this ship for five years, chasing treasures he learned about from stories pass down to him. He always failed though, so many of his members stopped believing in him. Alejandro grabbed the bow that was beside them, they never went anywhere without it, and quickly they strutted towards the boat. The fact that they were... different than other people couldn't be hid. It was in the way they talked, it was in the way they walked, it was in the way they did everything. Some of the men were clearly taken aback, but the captain? Oh he loved what he saw. He whistled at the Lieutenant as they made their way to the ship, then helped them aboard.

30 minutes later...

The captain of the ship shouted for help with steering the ship as the huge lobster monster revealed itself. The beast was angry. People they hadn't known were upon their territory, ready to capture it and turn it in for jewels. The Lobster threw its claw onto the deck of the ship attempting to climb in. If this creature came aboard it would devour all of them. Quickly Alejandro raised their bow and aimed at the Lobsters eye. Two black balls dangled on what appeared to be their antennas. "Move out the way!" Alejandro shouted to the other sailors. Their feeble attempts to harm the creature was only making it more angry. It was sad that such a magnificent beast would have to meet an early grave today, it probably just wanted something to eat...and it just so happened to humans were its favorite meal. Either way, it was safe to say that this creature had to die.

The Pirates quickly parted. "Gods, you're ugly." they remarked. Despite how absolutely hideous the creature was, the Stellan of course felt some sympathy for the critter, so the best thing they could do was put it out of its misery. The Lieutenant pulled the string of the bow and a mana arrow formed. It crackled with electricity and was ready to lay waste to anything that would even try to get in its way. "MATES, GRAB AHOLD OF SOMETHIN'!" the captains voice boomed.Just before Alejandro released the bow a rogue wave crashed into the boat. *PHSEW* their arrow zipped the arrow zipped threw the air just after their body tilted. dammit Before they could react the large wave flooded the boat, knocking some of the men into the water. Alejandro happened to be one of them. What a drag. they thought as they splashed into the water, gripping tightly onto their bow.

The Lieutenant kept their cool They held their breath and looked around under the water for the creature, for she too was knocked into the water. The Lobster monster quickly revealed herself. She wasn't done. Underneath the water she was as fast as lightning. Maybe it was just the way she looked but Alejandro could have sworn that she was full of rage and anger. Her eyes screamed "Get the fuck away!" The Rune Knight readied their bow, still holding their breath. The creature didn't show signs of intelligence either, even as the Knight prepared to attack she swam forward still. Closing their eyes, Alejandro released the string as a lightning arrow zoomed through the water and struck the creature directly between her eye antenna thingies. When the Dragon Slayer opened their eyes, there she was dead, sinking to the bottom. Quickly they swam towards her before pushing her to the surface and gasping for air.

The Pirates cheered when they say the sixteen foot monster dead by the hands of the Knight. The Ship was wrecked, but it would bring them back to the island in one piece luckily. Alejandro moved the creature closer towards the boat so that they could rope it to the ship and get a move on. Draining, draining, draining, but admittedly, the young elf had fun. They climbed on top of the Lobster monster and just laid there. "Somebody's probably gonna eat you but that's okay, it's the way of life. Nothing personal." They said as they gaze towards the sky. The ship moved through the water as fast as it could without damaging anymore parts. Soon they had reached the Shores of Luluhawa were they were met with people who had seen the commotion in the distance. Alejandro was beat, but to get paid they would wait for whomever.
