"Are we meeting my Godfather today?", she wondered while carrying her little shark bag. It was a cute shoulder bag as the long strap was over her shoulder and bag against her hip. Her blue ice eyes gazed at Quilla with curiosity as she has already met with Ragnar, now it was Kaito. These people were important to her since they were among the first people in her life in Fiore. "We are, Kaito and Revy will be going shopping with us to get you some new clothes," she started and looked at the bench and then a tree. "You want to hide behind that tree to surprise them?", she smiled small as Suzaku happily smiled with her mouth closed and nodded, "Yep! Call me when it's time or signal," she giggled and ran off the hide in her spot.

Quilla chuckled lightly and then kept her expressionless face now, but with soft features. Other than Jin, Kaito made her feel more open than with anyone else. Ragnar is like an older brother in terms of person as Kaito was like her younger one. That was how she felt about them. Jin, he was different, but wasn't quite sure as she is still trying to remember what happened that night. Today she wore her blue jeans and a black shirt with ruffles in the middle. Her shoes were sneakers of white and black as her long pink hair was fully down and combed perfectly.

Kaito had gotten word from Quilla that he was to come and help pick out outfits for his Goddaughter, he wonders what she is like now because the last time he had seen her she was just a tiny babe in cloth he hopes that she is good and well manners and that her first move isn't to try and touch him. He is gonna do his best to not make her fear him, so if she did come to touch him he would be careful to protect her from his curse.

Revy is walking right behind him and she is excited to see the girl in her new form but she doesn't know how Kaito is going to be around children, she has never asked him if he was any good with children or if he hates kids but he had agreed pretty fast so she figures that he doesn't hate the idea of children. She looks around for where Quilla and this girl will be as she is feeling sorta like she is a auntie.

Her fingers were feeling the wooden bench as she motioned herself to have her whole body on the bench, resting. Her head tilted to rest against the back part of the bench as she watched the direction Kaito and Revy were suppose to be walking towards. As they waited she finally saw his face, Kaito and Revy walking along in the street. She lifted up her hand while lifting herself up to wave at them quietly. The bench itself was an easy spot to see as she spoke up, "Kaito, Revy~" she called out in her cool tone. Her eyes scanned his outfit and looked back up at him as she left the bench itself to go to them. She thought he looked pretty good in this outfit, "I like your outfit, Kaito," she spoke up about it and then looked towards the tree she was hiding in, "It's okay to come out now, they're here," she spoke up to Suzaku.

Slowly, you could see a little girl poke out her head from a tree that Quilla was looking towards. Her cat ears twitched as her ice blue eyes gazed at them. Slowly, she walked towards them and then ran till she was behind Quilla. Suza's eyes were wide as she saw Revy, "I-is that a kitty?" she mumbled excitedly as she hid her teeth from them with Quilla's body.

They wave as they come into view of the woman and they start walking right up to her. When she said she liked his outfit he looked down. "It is okay, but thank you for saying so." He smiles and he rubs the back of his head with a small laugh. Their attention is drawn to where she was looking and they see the cute little demi-human girl run over to her and hide behind her leg and start talking to them from there. "A little shy is huh?"

Kaito and Revy get closer and Kaito kneels so he is more onto her level. Revy starts talking to the girl "Yes I am a kitty of sorts, my name is Revy it is nice to meet you." Revy bows her head to the girl with a smile.

Kai smiles at the girl. "No need to be shy, I swear I am not a bad guy." He slowly put his gloved hand out as if to shake the small girls hand if she wants to come out from her hiding spot and shake his hand. He wouldn't be upset if she didn't as he was still a stranger to her, plus he is a decently tall man kneeling like he is a weirdo.

Her eyes scanned the man as Suzaku was wary of the situation. She itched the top of her forehead as she looked at the cat who answered. Quilla stood there out of Suza's comfort and waited patiently. "H-hai Revy and you must be Kaito," she looked up at the tall man who then kneeled onto her level. Suza's eyes watched his every move as she looked away and covered her teeth with her right hand, "I just... hate my teeth is all..." she mumbled.

Quilla put her two cents in as she explained, "Suzaku is a multi-demi human. As you can see she's part neko, but also another thing," Quilla's looks at hers as Suza's eyes darted to Kaito, "I think she wants you to guess what her other half is," Quilla chuckled lightly as she petted the girl's head. Suzaku nodded and looked at them as she watched them both. Her description wasn't going to give it away!

Revy looks at kaito as he sits on the ground looking at the girl with a smile and he rubs his chin in thought. "yes I am Kaito, and Well sweetie to make that kind of guess I would need to see them. But with the context clues of hating them, either they are scary sharp like shark teeth, or strange and makes you feel uncomfortable like buck teeth like a beaver." He has no idea what they look like but he figures maybe he will be able to earn her trust and she will trust him to see them when she is ready but he should share his own hate of himself he guesses.

He looks down at the ground and he hopes it won’t share her from coming near him, he doesn’t want to lose the right of being her godfather, and if she is scared of him, he doesn’t want to force being her godfather onto her. Revy elbows Kaito cause he seemed to have gotten lost in his own thoughts. He laughs nervously and then looks back at the girl. "I will share with you as well, I have a curse that scares people that touch me, I dislike that as well cause I don’t like to harm people. " His tone sounds a bit sad, then he shakes his head and he gets his smile back.

"But people like your mother have shown me that I don’t need to be defined by it. So I am trying to do better and be better every day. " He flashes the girl a big goofy smile. Revy walks closer to the girl and gives her a thumbs up and a giggle.

Her neko ears perked up at his guess as she then listened to him talk. She looked at him, away and then back at him once more as she was in deep thought. After he finished, she nodded slowly, "I-I am half shark and half feline," she scooted away from Quilla and lowered her eyes in sadness. "She requested some item that lets her hide her shark tail and sometimes her ears when she decides to," Quilla explained to Kaito and sighs. "Whatever makes her comfortable, I allow," she told them both as she then looked at Suzaku who looked up at her with a happy smile that was closed mouthed.

Suza looked at both of them and was curious. "What curse is that? I heard mama wasn't scared to," she has heard from Quilla about the time she has touched his skin before a few times. Quilla was fearless in her eyes as she will too someday. That was when she realized, "Oh! Are we going shopping?" she tried to be confident now as her sharp teeth revealed themselves as she openly talked to them. Deep inside she was anxious, but she was trying to be brave in public to them as she wanted to trust the people her mother trusted.

He laughs softly at how his guess was right, but he had a little bit of experience with Demi-humans and his twin brother has an assistant that is a shark Demi-human. He looks at the girl as she speaks he finds her cute and feels she shouldn’t be afraid to be herself. "You are right your mama wasn’t scared, but it scares most other people." He gets back onto his feet and he smiles at her. " Yes we are going shopping, just remember you are you, no one is perfect but you should be proud to be yourself." He gently pats suza’s head with a soft laugh.

Revy looks up at suza. ” Yes you are perfect as you are no need to hide yourself.” She then looks up at Quilla. ”Got anywhere special you like to go to for shopping? ” Revy know there are good places to shop in this country, she just hopes no trouble comes there way, but if it does she knows that the girl will be in safe hands with them.

Suzaku smiles happily as her teeth reveal to be sharp, each and every single one. Her eyes looked up at Kaito with adoration. "Can't wait to get new clothes! Mama got me some, but I would like more types of outfits," she explained. Quilla kept a straight face as she felt cheerful inside. She enjoyed watching Suzaku cheerful over herself as she has been feeling down about her appearance. She stayed quiet and waited for her to answer Revy. She could tell that Suza was really thinking as her eyes wandered at the windows from the shops.

"Mmm, no, I don't know any," she put a finger against her cheek, thinking. Her blue ice eyes gazed ab out as she then finally spoke up, "Are there any Zoo's around? I'd like to go to on. I bet they have clothes and stuff there too!" she had pleading eyes as they sparkled. Quilla chuckled as she looked at the two, shrugging like she didn't care where they went. Plus, a Zoo sounded nice to go spend the day at.

He smiles glad that suzaku is happy to show off her teeth now as she looks adorable. "nice to see you showing off your pearly whites. Be proud of them okay?" he laughs softly, he hears the girl speak of going to a zoo. He blinks and wonders what a Zoo is. He looks to girl and he gets on her level. "What is a zoo? And does it have clothes there?" He wants to see this zoo place as he has never been to one before. He puts his hand out to hold the child’s hand so she can lead him to the zoo. He makes sure to walk at a steady pace so he doesn’t get ahead of the small cat girl.

Revy looks at Kai and the child with a smile then she walks over to Quilla to walk with her. ”This should be fun huh?” she giggled a little and she was excited as well she hadn’t ever seen a zoo as well, she wonders if she will even be allowed into the zoo or if Kaito is gonna have to sneak her in to the zoo with them through a portal.

Quilla looked at Kaito as he questioned what a Zoo was. Did Revy not know either? She gave a light smile as she held onto Suzaku's hand. "A zoo is a place, well this one is, a place where many animals are in one large area in their own little habitats. Truthfully, some are horrible as they cage the animals and treat them horribly, but this one I heard great things," she replied. She remembered Oak's Zoo as that was really bad.

"It does have a store. They usually have stuffed animals of the animals in their exhibits and other merchandise," Quilla responded in her cool tone as they started to walk towards it. "Yay! We get to see the animalz," Suzaku spoke happily as she looked at Revy and Kaito. "What is your favorite animalz, Kai?" she asked first as she will ask Revy next. The way she talked she added the 'z' after her l's. She tried to not let it hurt her self-esteem, but inside it did. Once they got to the Zoo, they let everyone in, not daring to question Revy coming in. Why? Well, would you question two high ranked known mages? Quilla flipped her hair as she ignored the gazes and stood at the entrance that revealed a large dome in the middle. It was far enough where you couldn't see everything besides the forestry that looked like a jungle. "Well, Kaito, it seems Suzaku wants to go see your favorite first," Quilla chuckled lightly.

Kaito taps his chin as he had never heard of suck a thing, but Quilla makes it sound like it is a common place, he guesses his lack of being in human cities most of his life has blinded him from seeing everything they have in store for him, as he mostly just sits in his home and cooks when he isn’t running around on requests or to meet with people. He knows more of beasts than he does normal animals besides the ones you would hunt or fish from his survival training from his elven master.

He softly hums as he thinks what he can think of and he thinks of a black and white bear. " It is that one is a black and white bear I am unsure if it is in this zoo or not cause I have only seen them in the wild. "He nervously smiles as he is sorta stupid when it comes to certain things, he was raised to survive and be able to fight and take on tasks like a mercenary, more his master tried to turn him more toward a safer life like a black switch or a tailor. He was always good with or around children so maybe a teacher, but he wanted to do like his master had done for him and save and help people even if they did distrust her in front of him.

If suzaku knew what he was speaking of he would follow her, and tried not to lose track of her, cause he was glad to see her so cheerful and he thought the way she spoke was cute, he hoped she didn’t dislike it as she did her teeth cause those kind of things are what make her special from others. He gently touched his shirt pocket making sure the gem is still in there and wonders if he should have just put it in Revy’s bag but he wasn’t sure if that would hurt him to be in there.

"Ah, alright Suzaku, let's go see them first," Quilla replied as the animal he was speaking about were known throughout Joya and Sin. She grabbed Suzaku's hand and she made sure Revy and Kaito were following. Everyone got out of their way as her face was full of determination. "C'mon Kai and Rev!~" she cheerfully spoke as she then let her arms out pretending to be a plane and going towards where the bamboo forest is. If one looked up as soon as they went towards a tunnel, it'd say "Bamboo Forest" in writing. Once they go in they will be introduced to bamboo on each side and a long fence with see-through unbreakable glass to block between the two areas. Suza's eyes squinted as she looked around, "I-I don't see them, mama,".

She put both of her hands on her hips as she pouted. Quilla looked around and wondered if perhaps it's more out. "Let's go more in the tunnel," she commented. As they continued through, they saw a bunch of Joya animals, including a red panda, a few unique birds and koi fishes that swam against the lower part of the glass as they made a long stream and pond of Joyan fish. Her eyes cornered to look at Kaito, "They should be here somewhere. They originate from the areas of Sin and Joya.", she lastly spoke before getting to what seemed like the Panda bears Kaito liked. "I see them! There!", she happily smiled and pointed towards a family of pandas.

Both Kaito and Revy were excited to see these animals, Kaito wondered if Quilla thought less of him for not knowing what a zoo was, but he guesses if she does there really isn't anything he can do about it he had just spent his life on the road fighting and training to be on his own and since he has been on his own he has been doing requests and taking care of people around him while also looking for a cure to his curse.

Revy and himself follow Quilla and the very excited Suza, they look around at the wonderous sights and sounds they are seeing of this place he wonders how he hadn't heard of such an amazing place before now  where they keep animals in such an interesting way with such flashy imagery. He wonders if these places are a common thing or if they were a bit more rarer to find them as good as this one was. He looks at animals he had never seen before least in a glancing side eye site on his travels.

He looked where the little lady was pointing and he gently ruffles Suzaku's hair. "Thank you for pointing them out for me." He laughs softly then looks at the panda bears. "Lets have a closer look." He get closer to the ground so if Suzaku wants to see the closer look as well and he opens a small rift which acted like a window and it was closer and a better view of the panda's and what they were doing and they looked into the rift as well looking at them. He hopes Quilla and the staff don't mind this.

He smiles and he looks at Sukaku. "So what is you favorite animal so we can do this to them as well for you to look at." He wanted to get to know her a little better so if the worst was to happen he could do his best to keep her happy even if he knows he probably wouldn't make a good father he is far to clumsy and detached from the world of human kinds. He hopes that Quilla doesn't feel like he is ignoring her at all cause he has mostly just been focused on learning and getting to know his goddaughter. Revy watches the pandas through the rift and is excited at the fact Kaito is thinking like he is and sharing his powers for good, she had feared that Kaito would sort of close up around the girl when they next saw her, but it seemed her fears were unwarranted he seems like he had been around her for ever like a small friend.

Quilla looked around for a bench to sit on while Kaito, Revy and Suza did their own thing. Her eyes closed for a moment and yawned softly as she felt like she could trust them to watch her as they'd have fun at the zoo for their first times. She was sure that they will wake her up once they wanted to know where something else was.

Suza looked around as soon as she went through the portal that her godfather made her. Her eyes lit up as she could see everything so clearly with all the colors. It was nothing compared through the glass. She roamed through the nature as her hands touched the leaves and finally stopped at the pandas as she hopped to look back at Kaito, "So cuuuute,~" she blushed and smiled cheerfully with her shark-like teeth. She wanted to pet them badly but held restraint. "Sooo flufffy!~". Once they were done here, she heard Kaito ask what her favorite animal was.

What was it?

Her eyes lowered as she didn't get to learn many animals yet, but other than the typical shark choice she'd go with she also had another choice. "I wanna see the water animalz," she clapped her hands happily and skipped towards the two. They could adventure off to find the location and let Quilla nap or wake her up, so she'd escort them.

Kaito had seen a lay out map of the place when they had come in so he knew the general way they had to go to get to the place that his god daughter was requesting that they go to, but first he had to take care of Quilla so they don't just leave her sleeping in a public space that some passing creep could risk a chance and end up dead and gone. He points his hand at the woman and she is placed gently into his personal domain in the grass so she can sleep in peace and not get bothered by people. He figured he can handle watching the girl by himself so she could get some deserved sleep. Plus Revy was still here to correct them if they were getting out of line during the trip but he had to step up.

He gently takes Suza's hand and he walks with her toward the way that the map had told them to go to. "If you see the one you would like to see more of please speak up but keep your volume to a talking level okay?" He smiled down at her with a soft laugh, he said this so people don't stare at her and she ends up getting super withdrawn, as her mother is asleep in a safe place and he isn't sure she has been away from her mother out in a public space before. He is playing it calm and fun so that she might not panic and he will do his best to keep her from panicking and let her have an enjoyable time here at the zoo as with Quilla asleep, he is the adult here.

Revy is watching as Kaito walks with the girl and she is happy that he is stepping up but he is unsure how Quilla is gonna react to having been moved to his personal domain and out of the zoo. She hopes that Quilla will not just lay into him and just warn him if she indeed woke and got upset about it, knowing as she had not had most choices in her life, forcibly moving her was probably not a smart idea even if Kaito was doing it to protect her from weirdoes or people staring at her.

Suzaku looked at Kaito and then at Revy, wondering what she did wrong. Was her talking really that loud? It was her natural voice, and she couldn't help it. Her eyes started to water as she had her sensitive feelings hurt. Her lips quiver and saw that her momma was put elsewhere. "I-I can't help it... Y-you're being mean!", she ran off as her heart was beating fast. Why was he pointing out her little flaws? She just was being a normal kid who was excited.

Excited kids are loud.

What did he mean by 'volume of level', she wasn't sure, but she felt like it was towards her excited tone. Her head turned to look for her favorite place. A place she felt so attuned to as she saw a sign with water on it. Suzaku went inside the tunnel and towards the aquarium, but before she was going to go where all the guests were at she saw a door open. Her eyes filled with curiosity went inside the room and closed the door behind her since it wasn't good to leave doors open. As soon as she walked up the ladder she saw lots of water as it made her miss something she didn't realize she was missing.

The second she started pouting and saying he was mean and she took off he was following right behind her worrying that she was gonna get hurt. He got to the door just as it had shut and it was locked he went through the door and he started climbing up the ladder behind her. "Suza my poor sweet goddaughter, I was not saying you were being loud I was asking that if you saw something that excited you to let me know in a decent tone cause the halls echo a lot." His tone sounds worried about her and he hopes she is okay.

He kept up the ladder till he had caught up with her. "To be honest your mama is probably gonna be mad at me for this. Sweetie next time please don't run off on me, I was more worried you would get hurt then I am getting about into trouble with your mama." He gently hugs her close his tone full of worry yet some relief at having got to her and she was safe and he realizes that she is looking at the water. "Do you know how to swim?" His tone is of interest in her answer. He figures she probably doesn't but figures that her shark side would kick in if she were to get into the water.

"If you are wanting to go swimming you would need to go to a pool or a beach this is not water you can be getting into I don't think." He doesn't know the rules of this place but he doesn't want her getting into something that could end up being dangerous to her as well. He opens a portal and Revy is on the other side of it looking in at them. "Lets get out of here before we get into trouble, and when your mama wakes lets talk to her about going to a pool or a beach so you can learn to swim and let your shark side shine." He smiles at her and his voice is kind, soft and caring.

He actually wants to see her in her watery element cause he thinks she would do well in it plus he figures he could go for a swim as he hasn't swam in a bit of time as long as he is careful that is. He doesn't need to go about starting any trouble or have to deal with too much drama about a decently well known good mage being a menace on the beach and scaring people and people bumping into him and causing a even bigger panic.

She was quietly chased down as she looked at Kaito. He was cheating, his magic or whatever let him go wherever he pleased let him cheat. Her hands rested against her sides as her eyes gave a stern look as her cheeks puffed. "I know how to swim, Imma shark," she insisted. She had gills so even if she didn't know how to swim, she could just breathe under water. As she listened to her godfather speak, she unknowingly yawned, and eyes slowly closed tiredly.

"Okayz," she rubbed her eye with her wrist and let her other hand be taken by Revy or Kaito. They walked together towards where her mamma was and by the time, they got there Quilla was stretching, gazing towards where they will be. Quilla's eyes gazed at them and got up, not even realizing anything that did happen. "Shall we go to the shop now?", she questioned as Suza smiled happily, "Yaaas~", she said and went to grab Quilla's hand instead.

Kaito is glad he was right that she trusted in her shark half. He walks with her to the spot they had left her mother who had woke and was freed from his domain. He was glad that it seemed their misunderstanding was cleared up but he figured she had heard enough from him, so he was just going to keep his mouth shut so he doesn’t upset suzaku again cause he actually felt very bad that he had upset her. He felt that he had really failed as a grown up, maybe Quilla had made a mistake when she picked him as Suzaku’s godfather.

Revy looks up at Kaito she knows he probably feels bad that he had made a little girl cry, even worse it was his goddaughter that he made cry. She looks over to Quilla as Suzaku went to her to grab her hand, she wonders if suzaku is going to tell her mother about what Kaito had said and done. She was not sure how any of that would come across if she told would Quilla scold and take back Kaito being Suzaku’s godfather. She doesn’t think that is how that would work but she doesn’t know of many things like that and humans are odd things.

Quilla was looking at Kaito as she was wondering if something went on while she fell asleep. It was quite odd as her eyes searched Suza's for anything, but to no avail did she find anything. Suza looked back and pouted as she gazed at Kaito while they went on ahead, "cooome oon,~" she giggled and then looked forward as she slowly walked with Quilla so they could catch up. She wanted to walk by both of them as she was not mad at her godfather at all.

Truthfully, Suza was unsure what a godfather really was. Were they a god and a father or did it mean something entirely different? Quilla's eyes looked at them and wanted to ask what all happened, but maybe she will ask about it later as she wanted to get them to the shop. Hopefully, all three of them will be satisfied with what they had. "Ah, there it is,~" Quilla spoke in her slow tone as she was speaking Fiorian. Was she walked close enough, the window-door opened automatically and revealed the store. They had flying, water, land toys, attire and little knick-knacks. "Alright, I'll buy. Let me know what you guys want.", she let smiled calmly at the three of them.

Kaito kept himself moving forward keeping up with them and he saw the pouty face that greeted him and he still felt bad, maybe he just wasn't made for this kind of thing, maybe he was cursed for this reason cause he was not meant to be around or care for children. He figures that he is an idiot and a failure and he keeps going through his thoughts and he puts his mask back on his face, he sees the door side open and he wonders on it did that but he didn't allow himself to think about it for too long and he looks around in the place they had come to he really didn't want anything cause he was not thinking he really deserved anything so he just aimlessly wandered around the place.

Revy on the other hand stayed close to Quilla and Suza so if she was needed for anything she would be on hand and be able to cover or be able to go find Kaito for them if he wandered off too far. She really wasn't sure why Kaito was acting like that was him failing at this even though he has no experience really matter that much to him? It isn't like the girl hated him right so why is he acting like the world was falling apart around him and that he was going to fall through a random hole in space at anytime.

They silently looked around the shop and noticed that Kaito was keeping to himself. "Revy, can you keep lookout on Suza?~", she calmly asked as she then walked towards Kaito. Her eyes gazed at him as she was studying him. Once she got close enough so they were standing side by side she quietly spoke, "Did something happen while I was taking a nap? You don't look too happy," she lifted her brow in question. She may look like she doesn't care about people, but Kaito seemed like a friend and he cared about her, so she cared about him as well.

Her eyes looked towards Suza as she saw the two look at things. She gestured towards the merchandise and walked with Kaito to wherever he wished. As long as he was willing to talk about his problems, she will be happy to listen. The people around them ignored them like the plague as it was most likely because of her reputation. If they saw her as a bad person, so be it as she was both.

Revy stands straight up and she turns back away from what she was doing to look over the young one and she nods. "Yes I got this Quilla no problems she is a sweet little angel." She makes sure to stay close to the girl and look at things with her and she wonders if even Quilla will be able to get through to Kaito or if at this point Kaito was a lost cause. She hoped that Quilla could reach him or at least talk some sense into his hard head.

Kaito looks at her and he sighs a little as he was disappointed in himself. "Yeah I totally blew it and I had upset her. I was just saying to mind her volume cause the echoes in the halls from the other children seemed to disturb the animals a bit and she took it as me calling her loud and then she ran from me and nearly locked herself in an exhibit alone. I failed on every front of watching her..."

He doesn't make eye contact with her and he expects her to be mad at him because Suza could have very well have gotten hurt or could have gotten taking or something coulda happened and he was out ran by a small child that he probably should have been able to keep up with. "I think maybe I was a bad choice as a godfather." He pulls his hood up over his head, he just couldn't face her, to him this was a horrible failure on his part cause he had upset Suza and she had ran away from him and risked getting hurt because of his thoughtless free way of speaking to her.

She scoffed as she listened to him, as he was being ridiculous. "Children will always be wonderous and all beings can be sensitive at times. At her age, she is still developing emotionally and mentally," she teaches him calmly. Her eyes slowly looked towards where Suza and the cat were as they were looking at toys. "I did not choose wrongfully as I know even if we both go towards the darkness, she will still be a light to us," she goes back to her normal expression of nothingness.

"Kaito, there is no reason to hide," she flips his hoodie off and rolls her eyes playfully. "How about we find out what toy she wants, and we can go eat food? ~", she questioned before motioning her head at him as a gesture to get him to move on towards her. As soon as they got there Quilla saw that Suza was looking at some animals that were a part of the water animals. "Suza? Do you wish for perhaps a stuffed shark?", she wondered while picking it up.
