Ren Aikawa
Ren never had any interests in the matters of humans. All he wanted was to enjoy his freedom. So whatever war or conflict that was happening, Ren was oblivious to it. He could always be found wandering about in the wilderness, if one were to ask him where he is headed he would simply say that he’ll go wherever the wind leads him. To some it might sound crazy, but to him it was what gave him purpose. The purpose to keep moving on.

The sun had just set and night fell. Ren was somewhere in a forest, sitting by a river. He looked up to admire the clear night sky, not a cloud was to be seen. The moon shone brightly but a few stars were missing. He turned his gaze towards the other parts of the sky, to the east the sky seemed to be brighter lit than the rest. It seemed that he was close to human civilisation, a town, or perhaps a big city. Their place were always brighter during the night time. He always wondered why the humans wanted everyone to know of their presence at night.

Ren noticed a flat surfaced stone by his side. A smile grew on his face as he grabbed it. It was the perfect stone to skip on the water, and that was exactly what he did. He threw the stone at an angle towards the river, and under the moonlight he watched it skipped a number of five times before it sank to the bottom of the river.

Bosco, what a boring place. This was the very first country outside of Bellum that Z'Aleel had travelled to and he was not satisfied. Not one bit. This country was kind of like Fiore in a sense with the whole "everyone is equal, everyone is loved" kind of social ideology. It made things seem too perfect and the Archfiend knew all too well that it was nothing more than an illusion. Where were the creatures of darkness? Where were the souls in distress? Where were the nightclubs? The parties? The Mischief? The Discord? The Fiend sighed as he strolled through the forests aimlessly, his shirtless body stained with the blood of a woman he had devoured about a half an hour before. Luci smoked a cigarette beside him, humming in silence as he hopped over branches and logs. There was no real destination for the unholy duo. The winds guided them through the forest and eventually they beheld a lake. It was grand in all its glory.

As much as the Nimulli hated what the sun stood for, he could admit that its might added to the aesthetic of a summer spring in the middle of nowhere. What was more interesting was that there seemed to be a small-framed man enjoying the scenery as well. He threw a rock as it skipped across the lake before meeting its demise and falling into the the body of water. Perhaps Z could turn this into a fun situation. After all, if he didn't find a way to quench how bored he was soon he'd probably start destroying entire homes to fill the void. With a devilish smirk, radiating more Obscura than necessary, he strolled towards the person before speaking up in his slick tone. If he was boring, he would at least make a good meal. The Demon stood back, watching as he pulled a drag from his cigarette.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" Aleel said to the man who had now stood beside him as he glared forward.

Ren felt the peculiar presence before it spoke. There was no mistaking it, the grim aura and the scent of blood. He was in the company of a Daemon. Not the first he had met in his long journey. In fact he was quite used to them, especially since he hang around a lot in the dark wilderness all by himself. It made him appear as an easy target. But some were friendly enough to leave him alone. He wondered what kind of Daemon this one would be. Would he need to unsheath his blade? Or would they part in peace?

“You reek of blood.”, he replied, his gaze still fixed on the view. “Perhaps a quick swim would do you some good.”.

He grabbed another flat surfaced stone and threw it at the lake. He watched as it skipped across the lake, and counted a total of seven skips before it sank into the lake like the previous stone. Ren didn’t care whose blood it was. Nor the action of consuming a being of his own race. He grew up in the wilderness. It’s just how the world works.

Not once had the Daemon looked over to his side, but he could tell that he towered above the person beside him. So much so, that the stranger could have fooled any other person into thinking he was younger than he actually was. Sure he spoke like an adult and had the aura of an adult, but it wasn't unusual for folk in this world to grow up quicker than normal. After all, this world was brutal and cold. It forced children to abandon their innocence to survive. The Daemon's smirk turned into a grin as the smaller man said he reeked of blood. Well duh. Blood was a scent that the Archfiend himself rather enjoyed, whether it was on him or spilled onto the ground. Most of the time he wasn't trying to leave with it all over him, it just sort of happened. "Okay." Za said before pulling his sweat pants down, dragging his boxers down in the process so that he stood completely naked.

"Tuh." Luci scoffed about 5 meters from behind as he finally finished his first smoke.

Still with that truly evil smirk upon his face, Za began to walk towards the water, his dark brown body glistened in the sun, his daunting golden eyes matched as he looked down at the water which had finally been covering his feet. There were no expectations in this moment. Whether this person stayed, went, followed him, none of it mattered because while he was drawn here because of him, he wasn't here for him. "You gonna watch, boy? Or are you gonna join?" He shouted with his back still turned towards the puny human male. A plaything, he was nothing more than a toy to be played with and broken should the Nimulli eventually become turned off. Humans were interesting that way. Some could survive the Archfiend by being entertaining enough and some couldn't.

He didn’t expect what occurred next. The devil began to strip down. Ren flinched and turned his head away, his face grew a bit red. He had never witnessed anything indecent such as this. Though he used to bath naked with his friends back in Joya, that was such a long time ago. Even back then he was more on the shy side. Though he had grown such cold and hard exteriors, his true nature seemed to leak.

Ren still kept his head turned away as the Daemon stood there naked, he was tempted to look but he would not fall for such temptation. Being isolated from others for so long, the feelings he had were new to him. But despite that he could tell there was something sinister about that feeling.

He was the asked the question. He could use a refreshing bath. Why not, he decided. ”You truly are the devil.” he smirked.

He reached for the band that tied the back of his hair, and removed it, freeing the long locks of white hair that reached his shoulders. He then removed the Joyan styled clothes he had on, revealing his torso and all the scars that decorated it, before long all his clothes were taken off. Making him the second naked individual there.

He walked towards the lake, passing the stranger, submerging himself into the deeper parts of the water, covering his exposed body. A sense of relief washed over him as he was covered by the cold comfort of the lake. He brought his hands up to his neck to wash off the dirt and grime. Never had he imagined a day where he would bath with a demonic being.

Hearing people refer to the red headed Archfiend as the devil was nothing more than a compliment. Truthfully, he hadn't aspired to be anything like a Devil, but it just so happened that he was exactly that in his own right. It made him chuckle to himself as he moved deeper into the water. He could hear the footsteps of the smaller man making his way towards him but hadn't realized he was naked until he got into the water himself. At that point, Z'Aleel was also able to see just how beautiful he was. He was features were damn near perfect as if he had been created from the water of the fountain of youth. The Daemon kept his devilish smirk upon his face, cupping his hands beneath the water and splashing it onto his chest as he washed the blood off. The crimson liquid dripped down into the lake.

The white-haired person in front of him washed the grime and dirt off of his body. A stranger in distant lands. Curiously, the Archfiend moved closer towards the man, his golden eyes shined in the sunlight but the glimmer reflected that of a fiery, wrathful man. There was nothing kind about him or his aura. Could this tiny man have the stomach to manage through such wickedness, the epitome of destruction itself? "You don't look like you're from here. You know its dangerous for such a puny man to be so far from home." He ran his wet hand through his hair. Now that he was able to analyze him more, he seemed to have Joyan-like features "Do you have a name, human?" His hips were submerged, but the upper half of his body was still above water level, his V-line connecting fully beneath the surface. Zael strutted towards his potential meal.

Ren could hear the sound of water as the daemon joined him in the deeper part of the lake. But the lake itself was not that deep, enough for Ren to comfortably submerge himself in it while standing on its rough floor. The young ronin still had his back on the daemon. Anyone with common sense knew that that was the last thing you’d want to do with a creature of the night. But Ren was no ordinary man.

He dropped his head low enough to immerse his hair in the water. Carefully brushing it, detangling knots and cleaning it off of dusts. He’d listen to the other speak as he did this. Ren brought up his head and pressed on his long white locks that shimmered in the setting sun, removing the excess water absorbed by it. He smirked when he heard the words ‘puny man’. But he let it slide for the moment. ”Ren.” he answered.

Ren could feel the grim presence of the daemon approaching, but unlike most, his heart did not falter. In fact he was being quite calm about all this. Perhaps it was the rejuvenating bath. ”You know,” he began, with his eyes on the water around him, ”Your underestimation of others will be your downfall.”. He turned his head to look at the daemon with his own pair of bright crimson eyes.

”What do they call you, oh Devil,” he asked as he turned his head back to the front, looking up at the beautiful crimson sky.

Ren, was his name. Honestly, Za could have guessed that it was something as simple as "Ren". The man was a beautiful specimen, yet he also struck the Daemon as a simple creature so his name definitely matched. Unlike Ren, the Archfiend had a name that probably didn't match him as well, alas Ren would never get to know it- at least not in its entirety. The waters were fresh, cooling and had only been occupied by the two creatures and so that made a perfect scenario for forbidden intimacy. Zael ate humans after all, playing with his food was something frowned upon in his household growing up. The golden-eyed devil slowly closed the distance between them until he was oddly close. 1 meter away would suffice for now. Perhaps this was all apart of the game. Everything was a game, even an interaction as minuscule as this one.

He would probably never see Ren again and he was content with that. "It won't." Zael said with that smug smile. Ren seemed to believe that he was anything like the other men he had met. perhaps he had met other Daemons and believed they all were the same. He was entirely wrong. Zael was nothing like those creatures, he harbored Nephilim blood. Still, it was cute that the small human male thought that something as humane as underestimation would be the result of his demise. "I am called Zael." He said as he slowly raised his hand to gently caress Ren's long white locks. "Why did you come into this lake with me, Ren? Surely you can sense that I'm not a good man- a murderer even." The Daemon asked. Za already knew the answer; thrill. There was no explanation. He could sense that Ren was no weakling, plus the two were total strangers.

Oddly enough, this entire moment reminded him of a moment he had lived in the past with someone else, someone who had gotten away, someone that he betrayed before even meeting them.

As the daemon got closer, Ren felt something peculiar, the presence of another body. The ever-generating heat and the sound of the soul breathing, it felt alien to Ren. Having spent most of his life alone, it was only natural for him to find all of this new. This same novelty was what fueled the thrill of the game. Ren felt like he and the daemon had reached an agreement. A silent understanding that Ren questioned still. Not enough for him to drop down his guard but made him curious enough to wait for what would unfold. And for whatever reason, that smug smile made him feel like caressing it and slapping it away all the same.

Zael, he registered the name. Fitting for a daemon, he thought. His body then flinched a little when his hair was touched. That was definitely something he had never felt before. He didn’t even know that his body could move on its own like that. Despite the message sent by his body, the ronin did not move. He allowed his hair to be touched.

When he was asked the question, he knew that the Devil was playing with him. He knew that Zael knew that both of them knew the answer to that question. He also knew that Zael just simply wanted to hear him say it out loud. But Ren would never admit it. ”And surely you can sense that I am not afraid of such things, Zael.” he answered with a slight grin as he turned his head slightly to the side, his answer intentionally mimicked that of Zael’s question. Whatever they were doing, Ren seemed to get a sense of enjoyment out of it.
