Are we going yet?

That's the question Suza kept asking as she was ready to go. Her bright water-colored eyes were bright as the sun was coming through the window to give them light. Her smile revealed her shark-like teeth that she developed more confidence about now. It was a good start as Quilla didn't want her adopted daughter to be ashamed of what she is. "I'm not using magic today, Mama. Do you think someone will step on my tail?", she wondered. Quilla giggled and smiled at her as much as she could, which wasn't much for Quilla as she had a usual cool and calm face.

"Noo, I doubt anyone will," she responded, but her thoughts were different, 'They better fucking not,'. She made her that Suza's outfit was appropriate and fitted nicely. She had a white crop veil-jacket to cover her shoulders and bikini in a transparent way. Her bottoms were a frilly and red with some white on the sides. With her, she carried her tube and had her towel and shark in her bag that was also a shark. If no one could tell, she was obsessed with sharks as she was a Shark-Cat demi-human.

Quillareine wore a black bikini with a skill pendent in the middle of her large chest. Over it all is a veil-dress that was partly transparent. Slowly, she brushed her hair before putting it down and going to Suza. "Alright, we're ready,~" she spoke calmly yet in a playful tune. The two left their hut that they rented and went towards the beach together. In her own bag she carried some booze bottles, picnic basket filled with food, her towel and some things to do. Once she got there she saw that there were at least four other people there. It was still a little before noon so it was a perfect time to come out and play. Plus, the music from the tiki bar on her right gave it a better vibe.


Sometimes, you have to make

your own fun.

Mmmm~... Nothing like a long, satisfying swim in the ocean to finish off a long, thorough morning workout. Ever since their adventures out at sea had left the two of the out here in Luluhawa, Alisa had treasured every moment spent here like a well earned, much deserved vacation. She still went to Hargeon regularly, courtesy of her Skeleton Key for quick and easy travel. But when she wasn't, working, well... It felt very much like vacations. She emerged from the clear blue waters back onto the sun's warm, loving gleam, her long, flowing black hair clinging to her shape as that salty glisten of sea water dripped down her form in long, steady trickles.

"I could get used to this...", she mused, a soft, satisfied smile as that cool, pleasant breeze brushed against her pale, wet skin as she slowly stepped out from under the ebb and flow of the waves along the shoreline, running a fingers under the edge of her top and ajusting the soaked white pieces of fabric around the fullness of her bust with a subtle, visible jostle.

Clearly preoccupied with her appearance with every single step she took, after minding her bikini bottoms in a similar fashion, she turned her attention to her hair, brushing it towards the front and gently squeezing out some of the excess water. And that is when her path crossed with that of a mother and her child. She noticed the pair but a few feet away, gracefully avoiding stepping on her tail like the girl so worried, and flashing her the warmest smile as she leaned in softly:

"Oh, hello there~", she greeted the girl, before turning her gaze up to the breathtaking vision with violet hair, her teeth digging into the plushness of her bottom lip as she couldn't help but trace the tall woman's sinuous shape before looking into her eyes, "To the both of you~"

She knew of her, of course, for the woman's fame preceded her. But even if they stood on opposite sides of the law, Alisa had never cared much for it, not to mention Fiorian laws held no sway out here. Instead, she followed much simpler principles. Anybody who'd came here to relax and enjoy themselves would get nothing but the warmest hospitality:

"You've picked the best time to come to the beach, the water's lovely at this time of day."

It was a beautiful view; the ocean was wide and sparkling with the sun still shining. She flipped her beautiful hair and bent over to gaze at Suza who then turned her head to look at the stranger to spoke to her all of the sudden. She was the Blue Pegasus leader and the one who was protecting this island. Slowly, Quilla got up and let her arms dangle while she turned fully to gaze at the woman. "Hello and it is," she calmly spoke in her cool tone. The woman didn't look threatening for now so she will slowly let her guard down.

"Hiya lady," Suza spoke cheerfully and waved with her right hand. She had her stuff in her other left hand. Her eyes looked at the woman and then at Quilla, "Who's this, momma?", she wondered curiously. Quilla eyes half-closed as she looked at Suza, "She owns this establishment," she tells her as she knew Suza didn't know what that word meant, but she was unsure what the Fiorian word was for it. "Oh, okay!", she cheerfully spoke and then looked back at the water, "Can we swim first before our picnic?", she questioned. Quilla looked at her and nodded silently before looking back at Alisa. "Would you like to join us?", she offered before walking off to set up everything; from umbrella, towel to taking off her transparent dress and helping Suza with her stuff.

Maybe she will learn more about this woman.

It was indeed a beautiful view... Nothing quite like a beautiful day with a breathtaking beauty like the woman in front of her to look at. Alisa returned that cool smile, still idly brushing her hands down that long, wet hair:

"Oh, 'owning' sounds like a rather unfair choice of words~...", in the end, she still couldn't help but interject as she waved her hand and shooked her head negatively in front of her. Many Fiorians made this mistake, and Alisa always corrected them... She'd never bought this island from anyone, nor was it ever for sale.

She'd been named it's guardian, and since the islanders themselves never cared too much for reaching out to the mainland, she herself wound up taking up that mantle. Reaching out, she stroked the girl's silken hair, nodding towards the waters and winking as she encouraged the girl to give it a try. If that tail was anything to go by, the girl would feel more at ease in the waters than Alisa herself ever could:

"Well, don't mind if I do... Wouldn't dream of refusing such a warm invitation.", Alisa chimed back, walking up to her, reaching up close to the woman as she pulled the up the umbrella, grabbing hold of the pole with both hands as her hip brushed against the woman's, "Here, allow me... Hnnnf...!"

And with a strong, powerful push, she wedged the umbrella a couple inches down, adding a bit of earth magic and ensuring it wouldn't come loose even with the strongest of gales.

The woman was denying the fact of ownership, but she moved that subject aside. Once things were done being set up, she saw Suza look up at her expecting be to give the okay. "Alright, you may go, but be careful," she warned her. Suza gave a simple large nod before going off towards the water. Before following up on Suza, she looked at Alisa and was unsure what more to say. Usually, the other person engaged more in the conversation. "Shall we go in the water and play along or would you prefer to watch her from this far?", she calmly asked.

If she picked to go into the water then Quilla went ahead and walked towards the shallow ocean as it was inviting her skin to feel the coolness. If Alisa wanted to just relax under the shade then Quilla decided to relax under the umbrella and rest on the towel that had Joyan patterns and designs. No matter which one she picked, she wanted to play the famous question game and perhaps know her more.

Indeed, Fiorians always assumed that. Perhaps some people in her position might have used her position among the people of Luluhawa to stake a formal claim on the island as a whole, but Alisa just held no such ambition. To her credit, the woman refrained from pressing the subject, which was not really particularly important at the present time:

"It's quite alright~... The waters are pretty safe, no powerful currents or prowling predators anywhere nearby.", while there were indeed sharks, attacks on swimmers were all but unheard of. Sharks don't usually prey on people, so she had to imagine the islander's sustainable fishing practices left the ocean's predators with plenty of their favourite food.

In the end, Alisa focused on getting the umbrella set up. The winds weren't so strong that she needed to wedge it in too deeply under the warm white sands, just enough to make the edges flutter with the odd, refreshing gust blowing along the beach:

"Well, we can let her play for a while no~? We'll join her in a few.", Alisa smiled, looking back at the girl splashing along the waterfront, the wedding ring on her fingers lighting up as she produced a fuzzy blue towel from her pocket dimension and placed it under the umbrella, in the shade, sheltered from the worst of the sun's glare.

Quilla glanced at Alisa who chose to lay under the umbrella after all was set up. She calmly gazed at the woman while going under her own umbrella and rest on the towel of Joyan patterns. Once she rested her back against the soft ground, she grabbed her neck pillow from the bag and positioned it correctly. "Sounds grand to me," she coolly replied while grabbing onto her sunglasses and looked over to Alisa. She knew Suza will be alright since she was half-shark but wondered if the feline aspect with water will apply to the situation at all.

Surely, she will call out to her if something was needed. "So tell me... I shall ask you a question and I will back once we answered the question we asked?", she slowly asked as she tried her best to still speak correct Fiorian. If she agreed then she will gesture for Alisa to go first. "There is no need for basic introductions of course though, your fame tells much already,~" her cold tone spoke velvety as her eyes flashed pink.

Alisa too couldn't help but follow the violet haired beauty as she too laid down on the towel next to her. Running her hands up around her neck, she brushed her hair away from her back and towards her front, letting her lay back with a long, satisfied sigh, her full chest rising and falling with a relaxed breath as she took a moment to simply let go of the lingering tension in her muscles from her swim and the long workout preceding it:

"I'm game... Sounds like an interesting way to pass the time.", the woman's words intrigued her, a soft, curious smile drawing on her lips as she rolled herself onto her side, elbow resting on her towel as she propped her head up on her forearm, cradling her cheek as she turned to face Quillareine, looking into her eyes, "Fufu~... Indeed, that sounds like a waste of a question at this point."

She didn't bother asking about her political affiliations. She imagined anybody in Eternal Nightmare wouldn't really tell her anything different from what Odin himself did last time they talked. So instead, rather than focusing on her guild, she opted to focus on the mysterious woman herself.

"Let's start with something simple... What goals do you have in life~?"

The wind changes constantly, so do people and as of now she wanted to see how this woman was. Will Quilla give her a swift reap once it was her time? Maybe that will be a part of her question once it was her turn. The soft sun was gazing at them by a toe as the rest was hidden in shadows from the umbrellas. The pillow had a cold spell on it to keep her cool instantly at all times as her body overheated easily. Her hand wanted to grab something to drink this instant, but for now she will hold off as she listened to the woman's question.

"To feel full as all I have done, never once have I felt full, filled with life and excitement," she explains in her cool tone. She turned her head to look at the woman who she assumed would answer her own. Once she answered, Quillareine wondered, "If you had to choose between Misery and good, or bad and happy, which would you choose?", she spoke in a non-threatening way. Supposedly it meant more for herself than the woman by her. Maybe it could mean something entirely different than that.

Alisa on the other hand, had no such commodities. She could have, possibly, but it either never crossed her mind, or she simply preferred to power through such minor discomforts. Even though they hardly looked minor, as even lying under the shade she couldn't help but fan herself ever so often, delighting in that soothing breeze brushing against her smooth skin. The woman's question piqued her interest, but respecting the rules of the game, Alisa merely arched her brow as she answered her own question, without the slightest hesitation:

"Misery and good. One's happiness shouldn't come at someone else's expense.", she replied, shaking her head. Her question was somewhat vague, by the very nature of good and bad, righteous and evil, their definitions unique to every person.

Her answer illustrated what she deemed evil: Callous loss of life, exploiting others for your own gains... She never cared much about authority, however, and always saw it as more of an obstacle than any real assistance. Alas, Alisa refrained from elaborating, leaving it up to the woman to ask her once more, lips curling wider as she asked her once more:

"What is it then, that you find fulfilling in life~?", she mused

She didn't understand the answer she gave as she didn't have the same beliefs. That was fine, all people had their own ideas and beliefs. At least she answered straightly and not take whatever time it could take someone to answer. Alisa questioned about the fulfillment of life, a question she wondered herself when it came to the answer of it. For almost thirty-something years she waited for the answer. "So far it's unknown. Countless wars, finding the identity of my birth, changing my age by magic to become younger, friendships... none of those have made me feel full," she sighs and avoided eye contact.

Softly, she yawned and reached for her bag to take out a drink. The heat made her feel parched as the lip of the bottle opened for her. "You may take one if you wish," she offered kindly in her cold tone. She sat up and started to drink the cold liquid from the bottle slowly, gulping and enjoying each sweet second of the taste. Little droplets fell on her jawline and dripped onto the towel. Once she was done she put it down and made a pile for the stuff to recycle. "Maybe you shall visit mine once it's ready," she applies about the island as she looks around.

Indeed, Alisa doubted she would. However Odin may spin it, a significant number of his Guildmates found their place there as few others would be so liberal. Now, she didn't know why this woman had found her place there, and at the same time, she'd hardly expected to share her life story with a total stranger:

"Mmmm, I agree... Those don't really sound very fun when you put it like that. Have you tried just living? Surely there's bound to be something out there that stries your fancy.", she shook her head, rubbing her forehead as her brow furrowed. In the end, she smiled as she accepted the bottle, "I will, thank you~"

She didn't even know how old the woman was for that matter. Assuming she wasn't much older than she appeared, she had no doubts she'd find something out there that could satisfy her. Cooly uncorking the bottle she brought it to her lips with a long, satisfying chug, wiping those stray droplets off her chin with a sigh before lowering it back down:

"Ufufu~... I keep telling you this isn't my island, but I'm never gonna win that argument am I?", Alisa corrected once more, rolling her eyes as she rose her torso just a bit higher, a hint of curiosity crossing her face, "Do tell me though... What manner of island are you looking for~?"
