Kaito

Kaito walks up to the mountain that the chief had told him his next assignment would be at and that he was gonna be guide by his daughter and he wondered if he was gonna have to protect the daughter or if she can hold her own vs any threats they would see out in the wild on this hill as he wasn't expecting anything big and he looks around for the woman that he was to be meeting with and he doesn't see her at first as she walks up to him he looks at her. He thinks she looks like she can hold her own but that doesn't really mean anything he guesses as he was not really one that should be passing judgements on things like that as there is a lot that he himself doesn't know about this island for all he knows there could be a giant volcano monster that might rise to fight him as he gets close to the flowers to pick one but that is just him in that moment.

The woman begins walking acting like nothing was a miss just making small talk to him which was strange to him as it wasn't like she was telling him about hazards more just talking about the island and how it does things and can do things for him if he needs them and he was unsure if that was this woman hitting on him or if this was something totally different so he stays indifferent to the woman as he doesn't want anyone to have any problems with him as he was just aiming to relax and get this flower that he was told to get as the woman was leading him he really doesn't feel like he needed to be so much on guard but he still keeps himself on guard just in case there was any unseen threats to him or the woman and Revy. The path starts to get rough in some places and the woman warns him to always check your hand holds for snakes first as she doesn't want him to get hurt or bitten.

He climbs and the woman follows right be hind him as they climb he can see why he was asked to do this task as it wasn't as easy as one would first think but he wasn't gonna slow down and he kept climbing keeping a good tempo as he gets up to the peak and he looks for the flower that he was tasked to pick and to bring it back down to the chief and he gave the woman a hand up and then he found the place with her help and he picks on and he has Revy put it in her bag so that it will stay safe and he has the woman wait and he will climb down first that way if anything happens he can snag her mid air and keep her safe as he had felt some of the holds and stones were weakening.

They both reached the base safely no one falling or getting hurt by this path and he turns and he is surrounded by warriors dawning masks and acting like they were seeking a point and the woman had stumbled over a rock behind him and had gotten hurt and he has Revy get down and tend to her while giving him his gear so that he can fight with the warriors that had come to fight him. He wasn't scared of them and he can see them start to shake as his gear appears and his eyes glow red and the dull red aura surrounds them but they themselves seemed to have a part to play in this grand performance and run at him as he just pretty much swats them away like flies as the were very weak compared to him and he has them restrained then portals the people back to town as he was still gonna walk back.

He walks over to the two women and Revy shakes her head saying that the woman wouldn't be able to walk and Kaito has Revy get into his hood and then he lifts the protesting woman into his arms cause she embarrassed that she was hurt and that this probably made her look weak. Kaito didn't waste time to argue with her on it as they needed to get back he began walking and she stopped complaining about it and she held onto him and he gets them back to the chief safe and sound and he puts her down and has Revy give him the flower and he gives it over to the chief who is nothing but a huge smile for his test had been complete the chief then began to explain that it had been a test for the mage to earn his respect and a place at his table anytime that he would see himself on this island and in need of a good meal or in need of some back up then he pays the mage with a huge smile and a laugh.
