Toge and Luci had been together for a few days. It was weird how he had changed from being with Za to going to this man. It was a different take on life, but he knew switching places meant that the demons were at work here. The two of them were heading to a secret gambling spot. It was hidden within Dahlia and not a lot of people knew about it. The paladin was able to find this place because he was a part of Utopian Demise. So, he was planning on gambling around for enjoyment, and hopefully, he could win something as well. Luci was on Toge’s shoulder as the two of them made their way to the location.

When they got there, Toge would open the door, and he would go to a man who was sitting on a chair.

“Dead is what awaits Fiore.” He said as the man would hear the code, and he would open the door for Toge to enter.

Toge would nod as he was glad that he didn’t have to go through any trouble with this guy. He wouldn’t have minded killing him and showing that Utopian Demise ran things around here, but he wasn’t going to do that. Instead, he would walk down the steps that were hidden from the people in the city. Once he was down here, he would see a bunch of people who seemed important playing games throughout the area. There were also a lot of people working around the clock. He could see them serving drinks amongst other things. The lights here were crazy, but he had come here to gamble, so that was what he was going to do.

“Go to the card game and listen to me. It will bring you a fortune.” He said to Toge.

Toge would hear him, and he would walk over to the place. When he did, he would take a seat and they would all look at him.

“I’m joining; let’s get this start it.” He said as he would pull out money and he would place it on the table.

They would call someone over, and they would exchange his jewels for chips for him to use. Once that was all settled, the game would begin. The dealer would hand out the cards to the people and before Toge would even look at them Luci had a feeling that he was going to win. When they looked at the cards, Luci figured he would tell Toge what to do.

“Take those two cards out.” He said as he pointed at them as he smoked his cigarette.

Toge would do just that and the dealer would give him two new cards. When he got them, their eyes would widen when they saw the cards. They would wait and everyone would handle their business. In the end, Toge would win that round and a lot of money would be given to him.

The two of them would be at this table for a while. Luci would make sure to let him know when he should raise the bid for his money, and when he had a feeling that Toge should cut loose on the loss. The people there were surprised by how the games were going, and even one of the people there had gotten mad at Toge. The earth mage would have a smirk on his face as he wanted to take this guy out to the back. He wanted to torture him and make sure that he understood his place in the hierarchy.

Still, he held back, and someone would escort him out as he was being disrupted and making people uncomfortable. Toge kept playing until Luci told him that this should be the last game he should play. He had a bad feeling that if this guy kept playing this game it would go bad for him.

Toge would finish his game and once he was done with that, he would call it quits. He would get up from the table with his earnings and he would look around to see what the next thing he was going to play. It wouldn’t take long, but he would spot a bunch of people throwing dice. He would look at it and he figured that the game would be fun and exhilarating to play. Luci looked at the game that Togei was walking to, and he would have a smile on his face.

“Good choice of game to choose and play.” He said as he was riding on Toge’s shoulder.

It wouldn’t take long, but he would get to the table, and he would show the dealer the chips that he had with him. He would acknowledge him as a player, and he was going to have to wait his turn to roll the dice.

Toge watched as people would do their best to make money. There were people winning, but they continued. It would seem like they didn’t know when to quit. That was their downside, and that wasn’t him. The demi-human had a devil on his shoulder who legit told him when to move on and what to do. It was as if he was guiding him to win and become successful. He continued to watch people lose it all after gaining so much and would step out of the game. It wouldn’t take long, but it would be his turn. When he got there, he would look at Luci as it seemed like he wasn’t changing his mind.

That was good and he would take dice and he would start shaking them in his hand. The people around there would wait and see what he would get. This was something that people enjoyed watching people do. Some people enjoyed the success and downfall of others.

The people around him would cheer as the dealer would ask him if he wanted to go again. The Cobra human would look at his friend as he wondered if he should go again. Luci thought about it, and he would look at Toge with a smirk on his face.

“Yes, go again.” He said to his friend as he waited to see the results behind it.

Toge would look over to the dealer as he would go again.

“Give me those dice.” He said as he would bet more money.

Toge would shake his hand again as the dice were moving around, when he was ready, he would let it go as he was hoping to win this round again.

The dice would bounce around and they would hit the wall and would come back down. When it had finished moving, everyone would look at the numbers that were on the dice again, and they would start cheering once again. They were excited as he had won another round. It would seem like the cheering of the people around him would bring more people around to see what was going on. Toge would get more chips adding to his earnings and he would smile as was enjoying this feeling. He didn’t think gambling was this fun, but here he was rolling his earnings and hoping that he would be able to make more. It was also enjoyable to have people cheer him on as if they wanted him to succeed in this.

Toge would look over to Luci and he wondered if his friend wanted him to keep going. Luci thought about it, and he would nod to his friend to keep going.

It wouldn’t take long, but he would let go of the dice from his hand as it would do it once again. When it was done rolling, the crowd would cheer again as they were hyping him up. They wanted him to continue to go through with it, but it wasn’t up to him. He would be given more chips as it was what he had won. The dealer looked at him and wondered if he wanted to go again. Luci would tell him that this would be the last one and that if he had tried any more times after it would be bad.

Toge would listen to his friend, and he would roll one more time. The crowd wanted him to keep going and he would do just that.

It wouldn’t take long, but the results of the dice would be another win and he would earn more jewels than he had before. He would look at the dealer as if the man wanted him to continue playing. It would seem like he was trying to win the house their money back. Toge would take the money while he was hot, and he would be on his way. Luci had told him not to do it again, and he would listen to him. The crowd was not happy with what he had done, but he didn’t care. He would give them all a death stare as if he would kill them if they stepped out of line.

Once he was done though, Toge would get his money and leave the place. He had enough excitement for one day that wasn’t what he was used to. Now, what was he going to spend his jewels on today?
