Akuko
Who know for some one like Nana Luluhawa would being something else interesting for her, By that it was some one. Some one who when extremely bored fun some interesting way to keep herself entertained. By this happen stance would be Nana's turn to meet Akuko. Unknown to Nana yet it happen that Akuko and Nana were allies through Akuko being in a guild that is a branch off of her current guild. But that less interesting fact could be talked about later since in some manner to really get Akuko interested in conversation, one need to rid her bored feeling.

At least Akuko always wanted to do harmless stuff. These harmless trick where about to start and to Akuko it would be interesting to see how soon some one caught on. To most people of Luluhawa, Akuko just popping out of a section of shadow just up to her torso and looking around, Lowering her bright pink shades it showed golden yellow eyes looking around for merely a moment before she just turned around and seemingly sunk back into the shadow in which she popped out of.

If she was picked up at this point, Nana could easily guess there was some one with the power of linger upon shadows lurking about, but for what was most likely a hard thing to guess. The next sight would be when a duo of people walk by a building that had enough shade that naturally occurred. Akuko pale skinned arm came out and with it gold coloured finger accessories then just ran hair entire hand through some one's hair.

It seemed to been some what quick enough to scare the person she touched. Then she would just walk out of it like she walk out of the door of a building and look around to see if anyone was about to chase her down.

RELAXATION AND ENTERTAINMENT!


Cue the music:

Nana was still recovering from her most recent events on this island. For such a peaceful and tourist place... There sure are a lot of strong monsters who visit here. She thought to herself as the woman sat comfortably in a shaded seat at a cafe. Nana was a tall woman with an obscene ample figure and womanly charms. She had long blonde hair that reached down to her waist easily. Her purple eyes dimmed and only moved slightly when new people came into her spectrum of vision. 

She wore a solid black two piece bikini with golden loops that held the fabric together. Over this, she wore a semi-transparent summer dress that seemed more like an exotic nightgown than public ware. She wore the dress to hide the bruises across her chest- a reminder of her most recent bout with another melee mage, Jikan. 

Even though Nana was minding her own business and occasionally sipping from a long straw to an alcoholic beverage, she received many stares from both men and woman as they passed by the café. Nana was used to the gawking stares after all. Nana was an otherworldly beauty, to some a goddess maybe- but anyone who knew her, knew that she was more demon and devil, than some holy being. 

The day was very sunny and this part of town was bustling with people seeking refuge from the sunlight of the island and to parch their dry throats. Nana herself didn't notice the first blip of unnatural shadows that appeared nearby. She did notice the second time it happened however, as the men the hand reached out to, had been looking directly at nana, staring at her obscene breasts that were barely contained by her upper bikini-wear. 

Nana chuckled softly to herself.. Mischief, what a lovely innocent thing. Nana was close enough to notice the golden ring associated to the hand, but she knew not to whom it belonged. Possibly this shadow entity already knew that Nana had seen it. Whether they had expected her to be surprised or not, was up to them. Nana had already entertained similar ideas- those two men in particular had stared at Nana's chest a little too long and Nana thought she would take a break from her rest to visit the two men in a back alley and give them some pointed reasons to not ogle a woman's chest for more than a second or two. The pointed reasons being the tips of her weapons. 

That was neither here, nor there however and so Nana simply settled for staying in her chair and seeing what would happen next. If the shadow reappeared closer to Nana, she would be guarded for an attack, but more curious than worried. "You possibly saved the lives of those two men." she would say if the shadow figure reappeared closer to her. She said 'possibly' because Nana was still debating whether or not if she still wished to inflict harm or death upon the two men.

The more wonderful part was. Akuko would more happy about annoying people then helping them, It was just the bonus. Then again just staring at people all of the time was a bit rude. But i guess it was a good thing to pose if Akuko was still around or not, After all she could just have already left by now.

But because Akuko did actually hear Nana mention as she did so casually, It might have been easy to guess that Akuko really was still around and she just need a moment to pop back up, She just kind of needed some kind of shade to crawl out of once it was dark enough. Thus not to long after her comment Slowly coming out of a shaded side of something close by. The daemon would come to talk with her. Just her opening words were not hello or any casual greetings either."I wouldn't have cared if you killed them, Their problem for looking too long when it isn't wanted."Akuko just then took a spot leaning against something close by."After all unless you want people randomly staring at you for whatever reason, Then by all means enjoy it. But if not sparing them is entirely on you and i do not care what happens to them."Then against Akuko might not really care of most people unless she really knew them. So far be nice enough to talk to strangers.

Sliding down her sun glasses slightly to look at who she was talking too."For as much as most men are not savages, everyone in some manner should learn impulse control."The daemon said but at least Nana could casually relax in the sun now, unless she wanted Akuko to leave already, Akuko almost expected it.

Nana was fairly certain the comment about 'impulse control' was likely an indirect reference to herself and her wonton murderous whims. The shadow had proved to be something similar to what Nana suspected- another mage. The question was, light or dark? If the daemon had to take a guess by the type of magic and the mischief created by the strange woman, Nana would guess dark mage. "I take it you are here for fun or vacation? Nana would ask, attempting to redirect the flow of the sudden and intriguing discussion.



Nana would sit up in her relaxed chair after a few moments and stretch, instinctively recoiling somewhat after a sharp pain from her bruised ribs. The werewolf Lucretia had done a number on her during their little 'misunderstanding' Granted, Nana wholly blamed the large werewolf for not minding its own business and getting ambushed for following a scent blindly. Nana is the name. I'm a member of Eternal Nightmare. she would say nonchalantly, but her eyes watched the shadow woman carefully. Some people greatly disliked dark guilds. Nana's guild master had been murdered recently, so she suspected everyone was out to harm the guild due to its reputation loss.

It must be fun and interesting to be on the other view of Akuko way of doing things, you either enjoyed it because it was a good joke at the time, or got annoyed because you thought you would be next. But when she would get asked that question, Akuko walked back into the closest shadow. In the background the sound of something else screaming showed she was messing around still, but would come back in her daemon form, But she was harmless. Then again Akuko was an strange daemon in some manner her normal human looking with the pale white skin and outfit she wore and all. was all changed to daemonic blue skin in both light and dark shades.

But there was a reason for it and she would lead into it. With all of the change over she still was covered as if she had clothing even if it seemed like she did not wear but now the questions would be answered."Yes to both, I should becareful and in some manner and behave, I do worry i could be chased again for my antics."The shadow lurking daemon said to Nana.

But at least Nana would be in good company. When Akuko showed the hand with her guild tattoo the palm of her left hand she showed the guild mark of Utopian Demise."Well well, Aren't we just happening to be buddies in passing."Akuko said with a bit of a chuckle about it."I use to be in your guild, until i was requested to join the secondary branch off, I am Akuko."So maybe it this would Nana get comfortable, The pieces just lined up to Akuko being a shadow lurking daemon on her side, Or if shadow mage if she still thought she was one.

If Nana was to be surprised today, it would be from this woman... and not just once, but at least twice or thrice! First was the lack of appall when finding out Nana was a dark mage- technically a dark guild member, since Nana couldn't personally use magic even if she had an enormous mana surplus. The second surprise to Nana was finding out that this shadowy woman was an acquaintance of her guild family's- even more so that this woman had once been in Eternal Nightmare. 


This Akuko had said something dangerous when starting her explanation. The death of the previous guild master Odin had caused some members of the guild to leave. Nana had vowed to find those traitors of the guild and hunt them down. For but a second, nana suspected this Akuko had been one of those members. Instead, her suspicious would be subdued as she listened further and discovered that Akuko had been recruited into the other branch of the guild- a different guild technically. Still, that made Akuko part of Nana's family, even if she knew little to nothing of her.


It was an amazing coincidence and Nana didn't wish for their meeting to end so quickly. She thought that had been the case when Akuko had disappeared momentarily to mess with someone else nearby, then reappear before Nana once again, this time transformed. That was where the third surprise came in- this woman was more alike to Nana. For Nana too was a daemon. She chuckled softly, not alarmed in the slightest at the change in appearance. To most it would seem bizarre. Nana would respond to this transformation by revealing her own transformation- even if momentarily. "We seem to have a lot in common" she would state as a matter of fact.


Even as she said it, her own body began to transform. First was her hair. The long blonde hair darkened and turned a luminous purple. Black and purple obscura wings sprouted from her back. Her dress was overtaken by her obscura energy, consumed and turned into a tighter fit to her sinful body. Yet her transformation went even further from human, different even than that of typical Daemons. The right half of her extremities was overtaken by a black and purple corruption that stemmed from her right and and leg and stretched up beneath her dress and covered her right breast in the black and purple mixed tendrils. 


Additionally, horns appeared atop her head, protruding from her now purple hair. Her daemon obscura magical essence solidifying into a pulsating ring of malevolent orbs that floated at a fixed position between her two large demonic wings. If Akuko was familiar with demons at all outside of her transformation, she would get the strong impression that there was another being's presence within Nana's tainted form. Nana would smile in a disarming way, even as the nearest bystanders clamored away- startled by the appearance of two demons in their peaceful streets. Would they fight each other? Or worse, join forces and feast upon the masses' souls?!

I think the lame part Akuko would just be showing off for the most part, She was oddly happy to meet another daemon. But the next thing she spoke was in Joyan simply because she did this when she assumed other people around her did not speak her main language."Interesting another daemon, It seems my transformation is far far different then other ones."It seemed Akuko did not meet many other daemons. But Akuko finally let out a laugh about things. Since they had a fair amount in common. Even remarking."Yes the only thing missing at this point might be a liking for drinks, cigars and a personal desire to ruin the nation of Joya....But that last part is just me."Akuko was seemingly just trying to have an interesting conversation with some one because she was bored.

Would that shock anyone? most likely not Nana had not really known Akuko up to this point."But, because I am an ever so curious woman. How fair's the guild? last i met them. Odin was causally meeting his members and making them drinks."It seemed now however could be a sadden part for Nana. Akuko did not know about Odin's passing yet. After all she was doing all of her own things. Which given she could lurk around in the shadows as she could, she might be busy with a few things."Better yet, This should be a conversation best set with some cigars. At the cost of some one else of course."Not shocking Akuko was being lazy as she always was and just  enjoying the moment.

So not shocking the shadow lurking daemon before much else was said seemed to have already gone to steal cigars. She might for now forgo the drinking only because she did not feel like it. Did not take long for Akuko to return either. But with two cigars in hand, But she went back to looking like her was a normal person. Maybe to draw less attention to them both because of how different she looked. She then would lite one of them hold it with her mouth and offer it to Nana.

It had been a very long time since Nana had heard her heritage language. Years in fact, not since her early childhood. At first when Akuko began to speak it, it sounded like complete gibberish to Nana. After several seconds though, she realized it was the language of Joya. That made her genuinely smile, even though her childhood trauma and dark memories lurked on the surface. Her confusion and the follow-up effort to speak Joyan would be evident to Akuko as Nana would respond in the same manner. "My trans...formation is... special." she would say, not having the proper words to explain that she had broken free of the demonic obscura and made it her own. Or the added fact that she had made a pact with a more sinister devil and obtained their affection.


Nana reverted back to Fiorian for the rest of the conversation. Her interest was piqued at the mention of alcohol but especially at the mention of destruction of Joya. Even as she absorbed Akuko's words and tried to find meaning behind the idea of wonton destruction in Joya, her hand absently slipped to a table behind her and grabbed a fresh alcoholic beverage that had just been served, when the purchaser's attention had been directed elsewhere. With her new alcoholic beverage, she would pry into Akuko's mention of Joya. "Destruction of Joya?" she would say nonchalantly, questioning whether she should reveal her own desire to see Joya burn and rescue her captive father.


Like Akuko, Nana too had reverted back into her human form and sipped from her fresh drink and giggled as the man behind her began to complain to the waiter that he had never received his order.


Her giggle turned silent however, sour as Akuko mentioned Odin. Many people knew around Hargeon after the epic battle, but the traversal of news seemed to be impaired. Perhaps the Rune Knights were to blame? As nana's new friend disappeared and reappared with some cigars, Nana graciously took one and waited for Akuko to light it. Her somber expression would give Akuko a hint to the news that would follow, even before nana would say it. "Odin-Sama is dead." Nana said bluntly, allowing that immutable fact to sink in.


She would take a long puff of the cigar and then let it breathe through her open mouth as she struggled to find the proper words that would explain things. "Alisa of Blue Pegasus and Odin-Sama destroyed a portion of Hargeon in their battle. In the end, Alisa claimed Odin-Sama's life and corpse. I will be going to retrieve it soon." she would tell Akuko, believing that she could tell her new friend this much without worry of it being leaked.

There was always bad news some where, maybe in some way the things she drank just made Akuko handle it better at times. Then again she had been able to cope in better ways when she cycled into a new life, But maybe the part about dying herself was for another day."I would like to say mine is as well,But I do not know many daemons."But for now she seemed to not press to many subjects.

After all she just seemed to look a bit more depressed for a the moment."Oh...Can not say I expected to hear that news of him."Akuko said it was kind of easy to pick up that the casual feeling and her more loose way of being just kind of went away for a moment."Of all people."She seemed to leave it at that and just finished her drink, even if she was suppose to casually drink it. Maybe that expressed the impact of it. Despair is a bitter taste one too strong for even Akuko to handle. It was strange to see Akuko seeming lost in her own thought for a moment, Given what Nana had seen by this point Akuko would have done something to annoy some one.


Then she seemed to just force herself to return to normal."Thank you for telling me that, It warms my shadow lurking heart that some one would tell me rather then finding out later on my own."Then she took another puff of her cigar. It seemed it was pretty quick but who knows what Akuko might have considered in her mind for a moment. Then she would just reach through Nana's own shadow and pull a bottle from corner of the close by bar."And yes I did say the ruination of Joya, but that is a personal grudge. Pay it no mind really."With that she seemed to open the bottle with a strong smell of sour with in it Akuko just seemed to take a large drink of it and put it down.

It had People experienced sadness in many ways. Nana would allow Akuko the time she needed to swallow the information of Odin's death, chased down by an alcoholic beverage. Nana had set aside the topic of daemon transformations: she  knew none personally to really testify how different her form was either. For all she knew, Akuko's form was supposed to be how she looked? Finding another daemon was difficult, let alone one that hadn't any intention of killing you or inflicting terrible pain upon you for little to no reason. Nana was describing herself of course, but she too could se that Akuko was just as mischievous.


"My teacher will be the new guild master after I time, I believe. We will exact our revenge upon Blue Pegasus in due time as well." she would say and then watch silently as Nana would pull out a bottle of alcohol, the fermentation much stronger than the paltry drinks Nana had been stealing up to this point. It was an interesting trick to pull things from the shadows- convenient, Then again, Nana could make her guns appear in her hands out of thin air.


Up until this point, Nana had been sitting forward in her  seat. She had remained this way all through the topic of Odin's death, but he was dead and just a corpse now. Vainglorious memories to be carried on by anyone who had met him, like Akuko herself. No doubt his death would be the spark of a wildfire in the near future, but that was not here and now. No, what had piqued Nana's interest was Akuko's random outburst about destroying Joya because of a personal grudge.


Nana didn't doubt her words. Very few people indeed knew enough about Nana's past to put anything together to concoct a scheme to trick her. With this new information, Nana realized she may have alike-minded allow. She leaned forward in her chair and slurped down all of her fruity drink one one gulp. Once Akuko had set her own stronger drink down, Nana happily and eagerly partook of it. She removed the cigar from her lips for a few seconds to grab the bottle of booze and turn it upside down. She drank for several seconds before slamming it down on the table. A light inebriated look on her face immediately. 


"Joya's shogun has my father as a captive. My mother was killed simply for marrying my father, although they were both daemons. I recently found two Joyan spies and tortured them until they spilled their guts." Literally. "They have my father in Joya and are waiting to execute him until they bring me before the shogun as well. I intend to save my father and exact revenge on the shogun eventually once I am stronger." she would say honestly, Akuko being the first that Nana had ever fully divulged her intentions.

It was good to let that moment happen, You know the normal person thing but the two people here were daemons laughing and enjoying other things before hand. Thus after the moment was over it seemed in some manner the better conversation was yet to come."Well, I should be okay now."She mentioned then she casually just took the battle and drank more of it.

Since well Akuko wanted to move on from it quickly because lingering on bad things was something she might not want to do. So might enjoy the entire idea and insight towards the reason why she was this way. They might want to ruin a nation but all for different reasons."Oh is that so, I guess you should becareful for my entire wish that i would want to do to that nation, For it is far more extreme then what you want."Akuko said as a warning in some manner just in case at least she was willing to work with Nana if need be.

For Akuko was a different kind of a twisted, Nana wants to save one person Akuko on the other hand."After all, I would burn every inch of that land if i could, I would see it sink into the sea...All for."Akuko liked to be silly or add suspenseful moments as this and merely just after taking another puff of her cigar and say."The fact that the seemingly endless conflicts over lands and rulings caused my death."Akuko was taking eye for an eye in theory too far. Joyan took her life well now she wanted to take Joya's life, Joya's soul. But then again maybe coming back from the dead just made a person ever so bitter, Maybe that was the entire reason she was the way she was.

It seemed that Nana had given her new friend a bit of a misunderstanding. While it was true that Nana wished to rescue her father, it was just a justification- not that needed any, but it was simply... convenient? Wonton destruction was nice and all. Nana just preferred to do things on a more subtle level and inflict as much pain as possible before getting bored and going for the kill. Much like she had done to the two Joyan spies who had tried to ambush her when she had first awakened to the love of Zalambur, the devil of violence.

"I can drink to that!" she would exclaim after Akuko said she wished to destroy Joya on a more grand scale, for little to no reason. "My father is my only blood relative alive. Even I feel a slight debt is owed to my old man for bringing me in this world. The least I can do is set him free." she would say- albeit there was more to it than that. By setting her old man free, there would be another agent of destruction to cause unnecessary or unprovoked violence and misfortune. The devil within her snickered, just as Nana snickered. Even the wholesome act such as saving a parent was deeply rooted in the desire to hurt others or cause mischief.

Sadly, it was time for Nana to part ways with her new friend. If Akuko didn't refuse Nana's action, Nana would grab Akuko's hands with her own hands and pull her close across the table as she would bid her farewell. "Akuko-chan! Don't forget me when you fulfill your promise to Joya!" she would say and then add, "I have some other important business to attend to. Farewell for now!" she would say as she stood from the table abruptly. 

One might assume she was going to the port to head back to the South of Fiore, but there was one other thing she needed to do before leaving Luluhawa island. Her ears picked up on the sounds- the distinct sounds of the two men who had ogled her body too much earlier. She had memorized their voices and speech patterns and their clothing. Forgot, that was something Akuko did not intentionally do. if she ever forgot it was most likely from varying factors beyond her control."Well, lucky for you even if my goal is total ruin, if really need be i think we could find and sneak your old man free. It will be a really long time before i could ever consider putting that plan into action."Akuko had to ponder if she just risked her entire desire and entire goal over all when some one had something they wanted to save from it. Then again Akuko was lazy even if she wanted to do such a thing, it was a long time.

Since she was not a mood killer pull Akuko was easy and she seemed to not be resisting at all."You do what you need too Nana, I have no problem when you leave when you want too, Eventually we might just meet each other again some day." Akuko did not seem to have anything but positive intention with it. Almost like Akuko even if she was a tricking daemon of shadow did seem to be some what sociable and compromising."Be safe out there and good luck in your task."

Then what would Akuko do? finish off her drink and cigar and head off to do something else. most likely scaring some one or doing some kind of trick down the road. Whatever it was Akuko would just be happy with what would really go on with her time here.
