Another day on the island. The people had been less annoying than they were before. That was a good thing and now he was trying to figure out what he would do. He had been doing a lot of jobs within Luluhawa Island, and he figured he would help the locals today with their catches. He had taken a job from the board, which would lead him and Renji to walk through the sands. They were heading to the docks again.

They knew where to go as they had gone there multiple times. Still, they were moving in a way that suited them. They would avoid a lot of the people on the beach.

“Yuu, I been thinking about doing something drastic to see if I could get stronger. Do you think you would help me out with that?” He asked curious to hear his friend’s answer.

Yuurei would hear those words and he would look at Renji as he was concerned he might do something that could get him killed.

It would be silent for quite some time as they were walking around. He would think about it for a bit before he looked at Renji once again. He would have a smile on his face as he would support his friend.

“Of course, I will do whatever I can to help you. I just hope you don’t risk your life to become stronger. I don’t need you to do that.” He said to him as he was truly worried for his friend.

Renji was happy to hear this from Yuurei and he would gain some confidence that he didn’t have before. He was motivated and now he wanted to thrive to become stronger than he was now. The two of them would continue walking and they would soon find themselves on the docks. When they got there, they would see that a lot of people would wave at them. It would seem like their peace would be taken from them.

Yuurei would keep moving as he would wave at those who had done so first. He would sign whatever needed to be signed to those who had gotten close to him. He would keep moving as he would look around at the ships here. They were so nice, and he was wondering how he could get one of these for himself. He kept moving around the place as he wasn’t the only one looking for the ship. Renji was making sure that they didn’t miss anything right now. While this was happening, Yuurei wondered what kind of training Renji would want to go through. Their powers were way different from each other, so he would have to hold back a lot.

Still, he would shake his head because it was not something they needed to think about. He would look around as he figured that the ship, they were looking for would be at the end of the docks.

Yuurei and Renji kept moving through the place, and soon enough they would find the ship they were looking for. It wasn’t as big as the others, but it fit the description of what they were looking for. He would have a smile on his face as he couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen today. Yuurei would clear him before speaking up.

“Is anybody up there? We came here to take on the job from the job board. We’re more than qualified to take on the troubles ahead.” He said this out loud as he waited for someone to show themselves to them both.

The two of them would continue to look up to the ship and soon enough someone would appear. They would just start at each other for a few seconds, and then they would smile.

“Good to hear you came to help us out. If you want you can get on board now. We’re about to sail off.” He said to Yuurei and Renji.

Yuurei would hear the man’s words and he would nod as he would look at Renji. He was already moving to the ship and walking up to get on board. The light mage would follow behind his friend as they would both enter the ship together. When they got on deck it would seem like everybody was working right now. He would look around and he would see the captain of the ship. He would make his way to the man with a smile on his face. When he got there, he would come to a stop as the man would look at him as he was happy that Yuurei was there.

“Glad you’re here Yuurei. I was surprised to see that you were the one taking the job. We have had difficulty catching the creature we want. It also seems like there might be another crew trying to go after the sea creature as well.” He explained to Yuurei.

Yuurei would hear this from him, and he would just figure he would be prepared. The Nephilim would look at the crew and he would look at his client.

“Alright that’s good to know. Just make sure your crew is moving the ship around if the other crew shows up. I will take care of everything, so you don’t have to worry about it. We can set sail whenever you guys are ready.” He said to his client.

The man would nod when he heard his words, and he was glad that Yuurei was confident in his ability to handle things here.

“Pull up the anchor and let’s be on our way! We got a fish to catch!” He shouted out loud as everyone would be excited and would do as they were told.

Yuurei would go to the corner of the ship, and Renji would follow behind him. It would seem, like this time he was going to be with him and get used to battle.

Yuurei would feel the ship moving from the docks and he would nod as he was ready. Renji would open his bag and just like that all Yuurei’s equipment would be put on him. He would nod as he was fine with that as he would just look around the sea. He was waiting to see if he could find the creature before it found them. Still, there was no sign of the monster anywhere. The Nephilim would keep searching, and Renji would assist in that. He would climb the railing and he would check everywhere to make sure that Yuurei didn’t miss anything.

The sailing was fine, and they didn’t have anything attack them from the rear. This was good, still, while they were arriving at their destination, they would see that there was something moving around the water, and it would seem like what they had come for was right there for the taking.

Yuurei would climb onto the rail, and while he was doing that, Renji would climb onto his shoulder. It would seem like he wanted to be his eyes and ears on things he would miss. The Nephilim would sprout his wings from his back. His eyes would change colors as he would take flight and he would make it to the sea creature. When he had done this, it would seem like they weren’t alone. He would see a cannonball flying straight to him. He would dodge the attack and he would look over to where it had come from. It would seem like they were taking the sea creature from these people.

“That was a close one, but now it’s time to show them what you’re made of. Summon Galatea to handle them, and while that happens you take the sea creature.” He said to Yuurei.

The Nephilim was fine with that as he would bring out a tool and he would summon Galatea onto the ship.

Yuurei would use his helmet to telepathically speak to Galatea. He would tell her that he wanted her to render everyone unconscious on that ship. He didn’t want them dead, but just out cold so they wouldn’t bother him. She would listen to him as she would run through the ship as the men there were surprised that a woman would appear on their ship out of nowhere.

They would attack her as they saw the claymore in her hand, but it wouldn’t be enough as they would be sent flying to the edge of the ship and fall unconscious. She would hit them with the blunt part of her weapon, so she didn’t kill them.

Yuurei would look at the sea creature as it would seem like it was focused on the ship that was attacking it. This was good because it mean that his fight with this creature shouldn’t be too hard to handle.

Galatea would move through the deck she was on as the men there were trying their best. She would shake her head because they didn’t seem like they truly knew how to fight. She would sweep them around and take them out without hesitating. She would keep doing that and she would take out everyone on the ship, or so she thought. There was one more guy and he had shot a cannonball straight toward Yuurei again. Renji would see this and his eyes widen when he saw it coming toward them.

“Yuurei cannonball nine o’clock.” He said to Yuurei.

The Nephilim would look over to see there was one coming his way and he would dodge it. He would learn whenever Renji said something like that to be careful. He would look over to the sea creature as it would turn to him. Shit his surprise attack wouldn’t work, but he knew that it would end the same way as always, one punch.

Yuurei would hear the roar coming from the sea creature, and he would shake his head. It was making its way toward him right now. Yuurei would see this, and he would prepare himself. Galatea had told him that his job was done, which was a good thing. He would dismiss her, so she wasn’t stuck on the ship waiting. When he had done that, he would dodge the attack from the beast, and he would take its life right then and there. He would swing his fist straight on the side of the creature, and he would knock it into the water.

It would squeal from the attack before going silent. The light mage would make his way to the creature, and he would drag it to the ship. They were surprised by how quickly he had taken care of it. He would put the creature on the side of the ship and the crew would net it and make sure that it was latched onto the side of the ship.

They would make their way to the docks again and once they got there, Yuurei would get paid by the captain before they had left the ship and the docks.
