Erebus

Erebus walked by himself down the narrow dirt-path street. From the far hills of the Spiral, to the bustling town of bandits and those making a name for themselves anyway they could. It felt that Oak had been doing better, but Erebus had still yet to locate Khal’s doppelgänger and would need to make that happen— and soon. In his shoulder-bag was his dog, Charlie, and adorning his belt was his two daggers, his right hand had two rings, one of a skull and another with a blue square sapphire that would instantly summon his other weapons to him, such as his Mucuahuitl that was sold on the black market from Stella.

Under his concealment, Erebus’s sleeve witheld a fastened hilt to his forearm. His last free hand wore a bronze glove. Adorning his body was drapes of faded purples and navy, blacks and grays. He had his hood down, which matched the blackened trim and magistus maroons of his courpsemourn cape. Erebus had his hair buzzed on the sides, left messy long on the top, it was in a almost bleached tint, albeit it had a pink coloration. Lining his chin, his cheekbones, and his forehead were black markings— in total they stretched across his own body; over every appendage down to his toes. Erebus was considered a Godsblood, a Human Warlocke, and had four mighty arms which moved in coercion or all at once, all of which were worked to the bone with muscle, even though Erebus was slender. Most of his muscle definition was in these arms.

Charlie was a brown and white chihuahua— without any special power the pup just made the days go by faster. Erebus was fond of the creature and took it in as a companion, Eternal Nightmare / Beverly Hills Dog.  Erebus gave the pup a nice pet within the bag as he walked along. The place of origin for the quest was— as normal, the Church. After all, any mortal man feared EN but the ghosts never ceased being that they had already died. They just needed a firm ass kicking to reach hell for good, and that’s why the Guildmaster was the select individual.

The sun had just set, leaving a purple night sky with flickering diamonds in its backdrop, and with fall approaching all the Oak Trees had lost their green life. They were oranges, yellows, or sadly no longer there now. Erebus loved this time of month, but some especially hated the temperate drops. Which would occur in about a month, to two.

Kicking rocks and pebbles up, Erebus kept true to his stride, passing by Odin’s old pub, now closed after seven. He then passed the Majura Gallery, the lights at the door were on, but there was little activity there. Erebus silently sighed— as he finally neared the edge of his lavish city. It seemed only normal for him to dread the same job, but today? Well today he felt quite skiddish. He needed to bust heads, to see some blood. Erebus was hungering for war and began to bite the skin around his index finger... A sheer sign of anxiety and worry about the future.

Not surprising when his master, someone who easily had more power, was smited by the same nemesis he was planning to stay toe to toe with in the coming months of Winter. Nothing more could be said to that, as he nodded at the priest leaving the church. That was normally a sign that he was tailing it, and the job was left for Ere.

So without anymore waste of time, Erebus pulled his saber to his hand— a crimson light that spelled danger emitted around it. Erebus was of the Lords of Darkness, so one could liken him to a Sith Lord already. He draped his hood over his face, concealing himself from the nose down in dark shadow.

Erebus

He pressed onward firstly through the large Church doors, into a great room meant for listening to the Illuminati Philosophy. Erebus knew there was some kind of Gods out there, he just wasn’t sure what any of them meant to his own fable or story. So to say he was one to worship? Not a chance. However, he was Bellan and so could read most texts of the religion around Illumin. Erebus had made himself knowledgeable with the facts surrounding that ambiguity. What Erebus had yet to discover was Odin’s dealing with the entity known as HER. Though, the arrangement seemed to be on looming horizons as action picketed against Blue Pegasus and Alisa’s forces.

One rock, one careful step, one foot placement. Erebus balanced his body against the wall, using all four arms to lower himself through the underground channel. Through rock holes that seemed to connect one with the under Earth and also assure the character would not be able to go back up. Only Erebus was not a normal human and had the acrobatics too bend and contort his body in the strangest ways. However that didn’t make him impervious to loose rocks, and when his foot casually placed itself upon a half broken rock, he fell backwards, quickly having to summon his daggers and pry them into the wall so he could stick against it’s side.

The moment Erebus pierced them he begins to grind sparks as he slowly scoots and comes to a stop. Erebus then manipulates his 5m Light off his Saber, and cuts a hole into the wall revealing a new passage way that Ere can further traverse through the crust of the earth beneath Oak Town. Pushing through the stone and cutting more shortcuts, Erebus finds himself entering the bowls of a room. Inside an insidious monster stares back, awaiting to engulf and feast on his entrails...

Erebus

The creature was bloodthirsty intangible and of a pale ghostly form. It was against creatures like this that Erebus truly learned how to phase even the most untimely strikes to his person, where he’d held conversion with the lost and the damned. You see, Erebus was always close to death. Since the day he was born, his mother died. His father, what even was a father. Erebus didn’t know, probably just the guy you train to be better than someday. Whatever it matters, Erebus doesn’t care. He is simply a student of the game, always fearing to be lesser, he becomes more.

Erebus raises his weapons level to the beast and flies forward in a dash that doesn’t leave the ground but rather collided and popped outwards with a rotation monstrosity of speed. Erebus spun in a vertical-to diagonal axis, his body entering flips that sung to God with their pure finesse at megaton speeds eclipsing the monster as it met strike after strike with defensive spell or supplementary phase. Erebus raises both his club, and his saber and began to strike the beast, attack after attack, lunging behind it as it phased and continuing to apply pressure as the creatures mana pool dipped. The blade was sedated on the club, grinding and shredding to rip bone from lodgings. The mana blade was of fire, melting anything it could and affecting the spells because of their magical damage modifiers.

Suddenly the  beast slammed its back feet, turning the room upside down and creating six mirrors in all angles of the cubed chamber. Every time Erebus fell through a mirror he would come out of another. Whilst the monster was somehow somehow invisible in the room and occasionally shooting him with armor piercing psionic blasts. Erebus quickly shifted his attention to the mirrors, slamming the club against the surface portals and cracking them outright. Eventually, one of the shattered, and Erebus able to have the Lerzar’s glove yank him enough times that he finally made his way out of the mirror illusion.

Now standing in the dirt, Erebus turns and looks up to see a much larger version of the beast than he previously remembers. He cracks his neck, and manipulated his glove to pull Death’s Ghastly Dagger out. The monster tries, sending it’s black balls of Fire in Erebus’ direction, but he simply counters by turning them into dust. Walking forth, which each step seems to spread fear through the spirits ectoplasmic personification. Because it depicted anxiety with it’s facial gag. Erebus knew there was nothing to stop him, so he slew the beast— as it has run out of mana. Erebus steals the head, which lingered in a gooey solidified form. As evidence for the priest.

“So you think you can do double this time old man. I’m preparing to avenge a friend. I slew the beast of it’s last life— exorcized your church for the... tenth time maybe? Anyways, what I’m trying to say is. You owe me, and if you owe me. Fuck it, they’ll increase my bounty with or without you dead. So let’s make this a fun deal huh? Shall we,” Erebus smiled in a rather intimate evil way. Almost hungry to kill the man anyways, albeit. This was just part of his usual act, convincing the foe of his status. Which had already became world infamous. It made collecting the Bounty Rewards on quests pretty easy. “Of course, we’ll do double, and I’ll make it 60%. Please stay in touch for further inquiry.”
