Silver Sparrow
There are few places in Fiore that allow harbingers of death to roam freely, Dahlia is one of them. Nine was still fairly new to this darkened city but they learned much about Fiore and its territories when they were back at the Nirvana Habitat. After destroying the secret facility in Marchen Mountains, they were lucky enough to find somewhat of a home in Dahlia where many of society's rejects banded together. 9 didn't know the specifics of the guild's mission but they knew that they felt safe and for some reason they believed that they could prosper best in Utopian Demise. Oddly enough, the guild's name contradicted what 9 themselves had been on earth to build, but with the backing of an army, 9 could actually create the united world. There was a lot of potential in Utopian Demise, they just needed to get stronger, rise through the ranks and get close enough to the Overlord's.

It was all a game.

One of the perks of being in a Fiorian guild was the excess of work. Nino had been completely broke and unfortunately, surviving in Fiore as a literal outsider was next to impossible- especially if you were an outsider like Nino. One needed to make valuable connections to thrive here. Honest work could only take someone like them so far. Plus, they couldn't ever imagine themselves working for the government of a land that gifted only a select group of individuals luxuries that others could only dream of. One day at a time though, the Demi-human reminded themselves. Sooner than later they would be exactly where they needed to be to bring their plans into fruition. This would be the only the third job 9 had ever taken. The dark haired stranger strolled into the hotel and met a woman who would escort them to the hotel room. Elaine Latimer, was her name. Nine wasn't particularly excited about seeing her but they needed the money.

Elaine had beautiful silver hair and seemed to be on the kinder spectrum. She gave Nino the task to follow her son and to report the times at which he appeared to be most vulnerable. She admitted that this was for the sake of her son's well-being. However, Nino didn't believe this woman. There was something sinister about the way she looked at them, like her eyes had a vision only she could comprehend. Either way, Nino did as they were told. They fled the hotel and began to follow the woman's son named Duncan. Throughout the day Duncan found solace in his own company in the parks, at the worn down church and even in some alleyways. Nino kept a mental image of all of Duncan's pit stops, but for a fat kid he was pretty fast on his feet.  By the end of the day Nino had photographed various places in their memory. When they were done following Duncan who eventually returned back to their home, the stranger returned to the hotel with news to inform their client with. They went into great detail to tell Elaine where her son went despite the fact that they believed this whole ordeal to be insufficient. Finally, she paid them and they took their leave.
