Today has been adrenaline non stop. But he was glad he finally got to the action. He was worried that everything would be sorted out by the time he arrived, because his steed was rather average compared to what others had. He still had the issue that he kinda borrowed it but not really from someone in the guild and probably left that person behind to come dead last. Well whatever the case, he left the not so borrowed steed behind and took his blade as he mobilized into action.

First what he needed to do was assess the situation. Tamas was a strategic man. He would evaluate the situation beforehand, make a battle plan and then move into action.

So question was, what did he get from his assessment. Well the matter at hand was that the guild was mobilized. And the majority went to the closest place to liberate, which was of course Rush Valley, the place they all rushed to get to in the first place. So he noiced some went on brute force, to fight their way to victory, but he also noticed that some went on and used the chaos to move more stealthily around the Rush Valley and sabotiging the opposition in many way. There were some members that were rescuing and escorting the citizens away from the Dark Guild, again stealthily without Chaos Eclipse knowing, otherwise that would provoke a fight and endanger the innocent civillians

Question was, what should he do as others mobilized. Well the thing was and lets be honest. Tamas was a strategist, but also a bit of a brute. It was hard to stealth in clanking armour and his rather high statue as he was relativelly tall.

So his best course of action was to... well move into action. With his blade in hands. He gripped the handle of his blade and rushed into action. Cutting and cleaving into the enemy. Avoiding their magic and their ranged attacks, to get in the proper proximity and to land a critical blow on all his foes.

He made dangerous cuts to his prey, but he didnt go on quite lethal slashes and stabs, because he was not quite as certain where the guild stood in... in well killing. Tamas did like or well he loves to kill. But he didnt want to cross any lines that would get him booted out of the guild even before he got to settle in there. So he was careful in where he delivered his attacks. Made sure to land slices and blows that werent quite in vital organ areas, but still as equally dangerous to dying if left bleeding out and unattended. What mattered to him was that the enemy was out of commission to battle on any further.

This was something he lived for, cruel battle. He of course made sure not to get in the way of any friendly fire attacks. Although a battle field can get hectic and chaotic. It was hard to see who was who and who dealt what kind of damage. So it was hard for him to evaluate the kind of force he could do on the enemy.

As he battled on, he considered this as well. A battle field is a chaotic place and he would not want to be mistaken for the enemy. His guild tattoo was under his gauntlet, so not really visible as his hands werent exposed. He really needed to show his guild allegiance even though he was armoured up.
Thats why he needed to find a tailor. Someone to make him a new cape, one that had the guilds logo on it. So he can show his guild allegiance without being unprotected to show a tattoo and in these battle situations, it makes it much easier for allies to see that he is one of them by the big cape and Paradise Dawn logo on it.
And perhaps being more inspiring as well if they see it, like a flag that shows pride?

But he couldnt really think of the stuff that is meant for the future. His focus now was on fighting the Chaos Eclipse dark guild as he was avoiding magical blows meant to wound him. There was one magic blast in particular that almost got him, but he avoided that attack by the last second. This fight. This is what he lived for. The utter chaos and carnage. The blood spillage. The pain. The screams of pain and of oncoming attacks. This fighting. This battle field. It was home. It was Paradise. Heaven. This place that was in carnage. Under the battle of mages and guild members. This is what life to him was about. If he could freeze a moment of his life and relive it forever. It would be this battle right now.
He was certain that no one in the guild was enjoying this as much as him.

They were all focused on helping the civillians and saving them. They were all focused on stopping this new big bad guild because they're the bad guys. But not him. He didnt care about this. He just cared about fighting. This fight, the cuts and blows he deals towards the members of the dark guild. This made up so much for the tedius and terrible trip he had on the way here. It was like a weight was lifted off his chest.

He was happy. And luckily his joy was hidden behind his helmet. Otherwise they'd think he's evil and maybe he was evil, considering he took too much joy in this chaos. But unlike some, he did not giggle and cackle as he cut down his foes. He was quiet and focused on his mission. And that was the liberation of Rush Valley and eliminating any members of Chaos Eclipse. He was not sure how long was this liberation lasting. And he was not sure how time time had passed

He was not sure how long was the liberation going and how much time had passed. But he knew he was enjoying himself 'liberating' these people. To him it felt like the fight had just started, because he was just so pumped with adrenaline, he felt like he was super energized. Bursting full of energy to crush all of the guilds foes that stood in his way.

As he battled, he did get some blows in his carelessness, but that didnt deter him. Nothing pushed him down. He had his armour to protect him. Sure that didnt mean it outright denied any wounds. But it did lessen the damage and he still had enough strength to continue on.

He did notice as the guild had battled on the dark guild. That the Paradise Dawn was pushing away and eliminating Chaos Eclipse. That was the only sign to Tamas that there was passage of time and that he was here for a while. He did notice the progress his guild was making. The rescuing of captive civillians that were in danger. The subtle and stealthily done sabotages towards the dark guild. And of course, people like him who were deep in action. Activelly fighting and getting rid of the opposition, driving away and eliminating the enemy.

He didnt get to see how much of Chaos Eclipse was there, but he was sure that the guild manage to do like 50% of the job. He noticed the progress. And in a way he felt it was a shame. He didnt want this to end, but he knew all good things came to an end. They would eventually liberate Rush Valley of Chaos Eclipse. And for that, he needed to make the most of it and savour his moment.

Thats why he made sure to be extra productive during all of this to get as much action done as he could. Sure this would mean he'd be exhausted, but personally he didnt care.

Tamas would fight on against the dark guild members and made sure to keep the adrenaline going. He couldnt afford to think rationally or critically about the guilds overall status of this mission. He couldnt afford to think what comes after the battle, because if he would focus on that, than he would lose the adrenaline and would start to feel the fatigue which would prevent him from fighting on. Ending his fun early. So once more he shifted his focus to his enemy

Sometimes it was even hard to keep focus, because to him. Fighting came so naturally. Its like his body moved on its own. All done automatically because he was just so used to fighting. But even so, even if that was the case, he had to keep focus and not move on pure instinct. He had to focus and fight with his head too. Not just instict.

Although as he battled, these Chaos Eclipse guys didnt provide too much of a challenge which kind of explains why his head tended to wander. These guys really did decide to mess with the wrong guild. Paradise Dawn was a whole different league compared to this dark guild. He was sure that in no time that Rush Valley would be liberated and they can all rest easy knowing Paradise Dawn is looking out for them.

Tamas felt it wouldnt be long until they push out the enemy out of this small town or whatever Rush Valley was. Not like he's been here before.
But as he dealt with the dark guild members, he couldnt help but wonder once more. Just exactly how many members does Chaos Eclipse have?.
Considering they had enough to take over Rush Valley and do such a bold move, it made him think a bit too many.

He thought perhaps this was their strategy, to overwhelm with numbers. Because they were certainly more quantity than quality. But even so, it felt like they nearly liberated Rush Valley and its civillians from the clutches of this dark guild.

He glanced around to see how his guild mates were doing and it seems they too were doing rather well and expertly dealing with the enemy and saving the lives of captive innocents. He had to admit, the guild members were indeed respectable in their own right. While he did not befriend them and mingle with them, they were quite impressive with their skill. Perhaps he should try and get to know some of them and mingle with them.

But once again, he delays that. He saw there was just a few more. And they needed to get rid of the last few that were here to fully liberate the city or town. Drive them away. And that was sure as heck easy, considering that the tides would turn and there would be more Paradise Dawn members than Chaos Eclipse was.

It was kind of a shame. That the ending of a magnificant battle was coming close. He really didnt want this to end, but sadly all good things would come to an end. Tamas would have to prep himself for the boring part. Helping civillians. He hated that. But he had to grit his teeth and do it, to fit in and not seem evil

It wouldnt be long now that they drive away the final few and proclaim Rush Valley liberated. What was a moment of joy for everyone, it was a moment of sadness for him. The fun part ended, the fight. Which meant now they had to assess and deal with the casualties and the civillians and all the boring stuff. Right this was what he braced for. The unfun consequences of a battle. He just hoped that Chaos Eclipse would offer more action in the future. Perhaps this is not the last of them. One could only hope.
Now he would have to mobilize in another way and see if there was a civillian to help

Once all was set and done, the exhaustion came and hit him like a truck. Much like how he expected. He did brace himself for it after all. He glanced around to see how his guild mates were doing and it seemed that they were all handling it well.

Well... that was good. He walked around to see if there was a civillian left in need that was unattended, but his first round of patrol or mini patrol did not unearth anything. So far everything seemed good. It seemed like his guild mates covered all bases. Which was good of them.

But he knew that sure enough, soon they would organize into helping the civillians of this aftermath. He was pretty sure that all the humanitarian stuff would need to be done, like removing debris, helping people get home and even feeding the poor people would come. Ugh the thought of that made him cringe. But he knew he'd have to get involved in that lame stuff to fit in and seem normal

For now though he had a moment of reprieve to catch his breath. He couldnt really do anything with exhaustion. So he stopped and gave himself five minutes to re energize. He let the other guild members who had energy to organize themselves on what to do next and he'll just follow orders. He felt that was for the best. He did not want to lead and it wouldnt feel right to lead anyone considering his time in the guild was brief. In order to be a leader, you'd need to have sunk time in the guild and got to know the people you are leading. Something which he has done none of.

He would watch as others would organize much like how he predicted. It was a work in progress and he knew that this would be a long day. While he didnt have a watch. He knew his five minutes of rest were still in action. Or well he just kinda guessed around with the time. He still felt the fatigue of the battle. But he was slowly getting over it. Getting his breath back. Relaxing his aching muscles. His sword was resting, stabbed in the ground so he wouldnt be lifting it up and holding it. After all the blade was heavy as it was a two handed sword. It was not easy carrying it as well.

He could really go for a drink. He would look into getting one, but for now he just waited on his next orders on what to do. Once his guild mates would set things up for the next big thing, thats when he'd move into action. But for now he rested. He quietly hummed as he waited, but made sure anyone else wouldnt hear him. He didnt want to deal with that kind of conversation or perform for anyone. Especially without a drink. Ale would be nice. He was sure he'd get that later. But now he rested, knowing well how his guild managed to liberate Rush Valley and how they all did a pretty good job.
