Drakkon didn’t leave the island because the jobs he was doing were something that he thoroughly enjoyed. This was the easiest way for him to make cash, get stronger, and test his might. It was what he was doing at this moment and he would make his way to the next ship of sailors. There were a lot of these jobs put out there for people to take, and he would grab one at random. He wasn’t sure what he would be fighting against today, but he knew what ship he was getting on to today. The Dragon Slayer would make his way to the ship.

He didn’t say a word, and he would just look at everyone who stared at him. The smirk on his face would show that he was up to no good, but that wasn’t the case. He was just being difficult; it wouldn’t take long, but he would see the ship he was to be on board and he would make his way to the deck of the ship without a problem.

Drakkon would look around the place and he would see that everybody was working hard. It would seem like they weren’t paying attention to him, but it wouldn’t mean he wouldn’t go unnoticed. The captain of the ship would approach Drakkon and he would look at him as he was trying to figure out who he was and he would approach him without hesitating.

“How can I help you, lad? Is there a reason why you’re on my ship?” He asked Drakkon.

Drakkon would look at him with a smile on his face. He wouldn’t say anything at first, but he would hand him the paper that brought him here. The man would look at it and he figured he would speak, so it wasn’t awkward.

“I figured I could kill a fish and you guys get paid big time for it.” He said to the man as he wondered what he would say.

The man heard Drakkon and he would finish reading it through and this was his.

He would look at Drakkon and he would give him a smile.

“I’m glad you’re enthusiastic about this job. I can't wait to see what you can do if you’re out here alone.” He said to Drakkon.

Drakkon would nod as he was fine with showing him what he was made out of. The captain of the ship would look at his crew and he would yell and give them orders. They would hear their orders and they would do what was needed of them. They would get everything ready and they would start leaving the docks. Drakkon wondered what was going to happen that day, and he should have brought an umbrella.

While the ship moved through the sea, it seemed like it was another day of a tropical storm. It would pick up out of nowhere and it would start pouring down on the ship. Drakkon would shake his head as the water fell on his face. How could this happen to him all the time and when he came prepared one time it didn’t?

Drakkon was upset, but he knew that he would be able to take his anger on the sea creature. The crew was used to this, so the rain didn’t bother them at all. They would go around and soon enough, Drakkon would be able to see something in the distance. He would look up to see that he wasn’t the only one. Their scout would take note of this and he would call out to lead them on where to go next. He would smile as he didn’t have to do anything of the sort.

He would watch as things unfolded and they were turning to meet the monster head-on. This was good and he would just prepare himself. Luci wouldn’t do anything as he would just stay there and watch to see what would happen right now. While this rain was terrible, the crew was well-seasoned enough not to mess this up. When they got close to the sea creature, they would put down the anchor, and leave the rest for Drakkon.

Drakkon would see everything happening, and he was getting ready for the fight to start. He could see that the sea creature wouldn’t let them go unnoticed. The creature’s silhouette would start moving through the water and toward them. He would see this and he knew that he had to act quiet. It wouldn’t be hard to do, and he would snap his finger. The snap of his fingers would activate his spell, and it would cause the infamous raven spell that he stole to come out. It would land right on top of the shadow and an explosion would occur.

Drakkon would see this and he wondered what kind of creature would appear. The creature felt limp, but it was conscious. He would have a smirk on his face as it was a monstrous-sized manta ray. The Dragon Slayer would see this and now that he knew what it was, he figured it was time to finish the job.

Drakkon would wave his hand away this time, and he would summon a dragon from a magic circle. This attack would head straight to the manta ray, dealing the final blow to it. The creature would scream in pain, and then things would go into silence. Drakkon would step away and he would announce that the manta ray should be dead. When the crew heard this, they would secure the manta ray, and when they did they could tell he wasn’t lying about it being dead. It was then that they would turn around and start heading back to the port. The travel was longer than usual but it was due to the rain that was occurring right now.

When they got to the port though, the ship would dock without a problem. The captain would make his way to Drakkon and he would hand him his jewels for his hard work. Drakkon would take it without a problem and be on his way to take on another job like this.
