Emil was going to take on some creatures that were stopping some miners from being able to get to their site in the mine and to help them mine a little but he was not sure if there were any things in the mines that he could fight without having to turn his magic to arcane as he wanted to hear more of the crackling of his actual lightning but he guesses that is just what he is going to have to do. Emil heads to the home of the man that is hiring him and when he gets there he finds out it was not a man but a woman that had hired him and Indiana looked at the woman who was fully dressed up in miners gear and she looked very rough and tough like she would chew you up and spit you out or might just skip that all and just spit on you for looking at her. The woman speaks with a smile. "Alright muscle head it is time for you to help me and my crew deeper into the mines and get that pay dirt."

A man from inside of the very nice home yells out at the woman. "Lady Elizabeth get back in here right this second your father would roll in his grave if he saw you going to work with the peons!" The man was clad in butler attire and he looked quite displeased to see the woman in the dirty and beaten up clothes that she was wearing of a miner and laborer. Emil had no idea what he was doing but he was not against taking the woman with them as she didn't look like she was going to take no for an answer anyways. "Hey old man leave it to me I will keep her and the crew safe, as she clearly was coming rather you allowed it or not." Emil waved the woman on and for a second he saw the woman's expression change and a softer sweeter real smile crack her face, Emil wonders if she had been acting tough as really she was scared to be trapped in that house.

Emil and Indiana started walking and the woman followed right behind them and she told them where they were meeting up with the crew of miners at and they head there and when they arrived the miners looked very scared of Emil and then they look to the woman standing just behind them and they lighten up as that butler had sent people to scare them off to try and break the woman out of her delusions of being a miner by trying to force them to scare her off and talk down to her but they hadn't given into those demands and they thought that the butler might have hired the Paradise Dawn member known to do anything for glory and fame. The woman quickly took charge and told them to get the crew telling to get the equipment and collection stuff together as they were going to get to the spot and mine it out.

Emil has no idea of the gravity of the request he had taken just that he was getting very well paid for what he was doing. Once they had made it to the mine the miners inside were looking at Emil with fear and they knew not to cross him but they also saw that the woman was with him and the crew behind them and the other miners calmed down as he wasn't there for them but to do some actual work and take on something that was going on deeper into the mines and that is when Emil saw it beasts that shouldn't be in the mines and they had owner seals on them meaning these are not just random beasts that attack people but ones that someone owns meaning that someone else was blocking off this area and something is smelling fishy here and Emil punches the beasts and he makes his way through them the woman was surprised as other people had tried that and failed not even hurting the beasts and this guy had simply punched them all twice leaving them stunned and on the ground.

The woman wondered why Emil hadn't killed them but it seemed that the bulky mage had went farther forward and then the woman could hear it the echoes of a group of people digging ahead in the area that the woman was to be digging in and it makes sense to Emil someone else had forced them selves in and where digging in the spot she had paid for. Emil was expecting a fight as this was a well set up deal and as he thought the miners working there and digging were guarded by heavily armed guards that looked shocked that they had got this far and moved toward Emil who punched forward and a3 lightning beam blasted forward and jumped to the other guards that cried in pain as they lost mana and their debuffed in intelligence from his magic hitting them through their armor and the woman yelled to Emil that protected him self from a slash from the shadows and the attacker dropped their weapon as their arm went numb.

Emil hit them with the other fist and knocked them out and Indiana hurried and restrained the guards and men that were knocked out from the hits they had taken and they found the orders that were signed by her butler and it turned out that the butler had been stealing the ores here and selling them and lining his own pockets since the day that he had been sent to buy it for her and he had seen the high quality of the ores and the riches he could make if he staged all of this the woman was past made and she was probably going to kill him when she got home but the miners had given up and hurried and left as guards took away the defeated guards and Emil looked around and he sees where they had been stashing the stuff they had dug in case they had been caught.

The woman shakes her head and sighs then she tells her crew to get to work as they have mouths to feed and a world to help and Emil stays on guard as Indiana helps with the digging, Indiana hopes that they will be able to get enough for the woman to make her words true and these men get the food and other things that she had promised them and he thinks that it will as the yield is really good and there was a lot of stuff to go around and the woman seemed like a natural at running and leading the crew though her mining skills needed some work but the miners showed that they respected her and they tried to help her and give her tips but they didn't really hassle her as she was new and they knew she would grow to fill the shoes that she was wishing to fill for them as they had faith and full trust in her as they were still trying and she never gave up on them and still paid them even when they were unable to mine.

Emil had to respect that the woman was doing all that hard work and putting in her time here. Emil fights the few small creatures that come this way as mostly this cave was free of issues from the beasts as they were in a decent spot that the beasts didn't seem to be alerted or bothered by them but Emil wasn't going to let his guard down. Emil hears a set of claws and foot steps as the butler had seemed to have brought reinforcements to fight with them and Emil gets himself ramped up and his powers amped up as he was going to take them on with out a second thought. He told the woman that he was going to handle it and that she shouldn't worry about it just keep her team working and doing what she can do and that is just part of it and that was something that was not fully in her wheel house though but she was going to do her best here.

Emil is brawling with the new guards that had come on to the battle field and the beasts that had come with them. The butler looks at them and he smiles while starting to mumble something under his breath and Emil sent a spell and hit the magic circle that the butler was making there with his incantation the butler looked confused how that man had figured out what he was doing from so far away and knows that this man is going to be a problem that was going to be hard to fix or get rid of as he was stronger than he was and he seemed to be far better equipped as well and he needed to figure it out as he couldn't lose this jewel income and allow himself to be dropped back to be only making lowly butler pay anymore he needed to kill this mana nd then the Lady of the house so that no one knows that he was the on that had killed her he had to do this and keep getting the money from the mine as this was too big to back down from.

Emil had beaten these men easier than the first set but that was probably as they were not paid as well as the first ones were but he finished the fight with them and he headed for the butler that seemed to be running at the woman that had hired Emil and he fired off another punch that sped toward the man and hit him in his back making him drop the dagger that he was holding and the woman had turned around then did a spinning kick twisting the man neck hard enough that it knocked him out and rearranged some of the mans teeth in his mouth and the rune knights came and collected the guards and the butler, seeing as he didn't foresee anymore people to be coming Emil picked up and axe and he started to mine to help the woman as it was getting closer to the end of the day for the miners and he needed to help get the quota met and they all cheered at the end and Emil made sure that the woman made it home safe and her mother greeted her there and they went in and Emil went home for the day.
